Saros led the Predators onto the ice for warmups. Saros had an ugly start to the 2020 playoffs, giving up three goals in the first 16 minutes of Game 1. However, like he rest of his team, he settled in and Nashville nearly came back from 3-0 down. He finished the game with 33 saves on 37 shots (.892 SV%) and that was enough for the Predators to go back to him in a super important Game 2. Source: Thomas Willis
Hellebuyck led the Jets onto the ice for warmups. Hellebuyck allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Jets 3-2 win over the Flames in Game 2. It was a gutsy performance from the Jets, who were without Mark Scheifele and Patrik Laine. Hellebuyck has now stopped 57 of 62 shots (.919 SV%) in the first two games of this series. Andersen led the Maple Leafs onto the ice for Game 2. Andersen played very well in Game 1 but allowed one soft goal and it was enough to cement the victory for Columbus. Overall, he stopped 33 of 34 shots in the loss but it was a good sign for Andersen, who has yet to win playoff series in his Maple Leafs career. Source: Terry Koshan
Shesterkin (undisclosed) will start Game 3 vs. the Hurricanes. Shesterkin was surprisingly "unfit to play" in Games 1 and 2 but will make his playoffs debut in an elimination game on Tuesday. Shesterkin was lights out after being recalled from the AHL in January. The rookie went 10-2-0 with a 2.52 GAA and .932 SV% in 12 starts and will need to bring that game tonight if the Rangers are going to keep their season alive. Source: Stephen Whyno
