The Wild were hopeful that Granlund would be able to play tonight, but he was not medically cleared, so look for him to return after the All Star break in Edmonton.

Mrazek was pulled after allowing three goals on seven shots in the Red Wings 6-4 win over the Sabres on Sunday. Despite the rough outing, the Red Wings will go back to Mrazek tonight vs. Minnesota. Mrazek is 4-1-0 with a 2.29 GAA and .914 SV% in his last five starts.

Granlund returned to practice on Sunday and took part in the morning skate with a no-contact sweater today. Coach Mike Yeo said there is a chance that Granlund will play Tuesday.

Mrazek turned aside 34 of 36 shots in the Red Wings 5-2 victory over Nashville last night. He will start again tonight, having won three straight starts with a 1.63 GAA and .944 SV%. He is filling in admirably for Jimmy Howard and should be a great start tonight with the Sabres rolling into town.

Granlund has been out since December 27th after undergoing wrist surgery, but he will have a doctors appointment later today to determine if he can return to practice on Sunday.

Trouba, who is supposed to be out until February, skated in a regular jersey at the Jets morning skate. Ditching the no-contact sweater is a good sign that Trouba is nearing a return and that he could be back before February.

Also fellow Czech legend, Dominik Hasek’s jersey will be retired tonight, so should be a big night for the 22-year-old Mrazek.

Gudas will likely miss the rest of the season after undergoing an arthroscopic procedure on his knee on Tuesday. This is a huge opportunity for Nikita Nesterov, who will stay on the roster with Gudas out.

Gudas will have an arthoscopic procedure performed on Tuesday and an exact timeline for Gudas’ return will be determined after surgery. Gudas was injured on December 29th vs. the Maple Leafs when he fell awkwardly into the boards. With Gudas out, Nikita Nesterov will stay with the club for the time being.

Gudas will miss his third consecutive game with an undisclosed injury. He remains day-to-day; his next chance to return is Tuesday in Montreal.

Granlund suffered an upper-body injury on Saturday and is out indefinitely. The Wild have placed him on IR in order to recall Tyler Graovac from Iowa.
