Husso has been recalled from Grand Rapids (AHL).

With Alex Lyon (upper body) still sidelined, Detroit has recalled Husso from Grand Rapids (AHL) to serve as Cam Talbot's backup. Husso has been spectacular at the AHL level this season, posting a 1.86 GAA and .935 SV% in eight appearances (6-1-0), but has not been able to translate that success to the NHL level, where he has a 3.47 GAA and .877 SV% in eight appearances (1-4-2).

Moments after being named to the AHL All-Star game, the Ducks recalled Colangelo from the San Diego Gulls (AHL). The 23-year-old forward was the 36th overall pick of the Ducks in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. He went scoreless in eight games with the Ducks earlier this season but has been productive after the AHL level, scoring 22 points (13G / 9A) in 24 contests.

Mintyukov will draw back into Anaheim's lineup on Tuesday vs. Calgary.

Olen Zellweger will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday against the Calgary Flames, allowing Mintukov to play for the first time sine January 2nd. The 21-year-old Mintyukov is averaging 19:27 time-on-ice, recording eight points (3G / 5A), 47 blocks, and 33 hits in 31 games this season.

Zellweger will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday vs. Calgary.

Pavel Mintyukov will draw back into Anaheim's lineup on Tuesday against the Calgary Flames, resulting in Zellweger being a healthy scratch. The 21-year-old Zellweger has been impressive on Anaheim's blue line this season, averaging 19:27 time-on-ice and scoring 12 points (4G / 8A) in 34 games.

Kreider (upper-body) has been placed on IR retroactive to January 5th.

Kreider did not play on Sunday and will be out of the lineup until at least January 14th against the Colorado Avalanche. The 33-year-old Kreider has struggled this season with only 15 points (13G / 2A) in 34 games but was playing better lately, scoring three points (2G / 1A) in three games before his injury.

Dostal will start in Edmonton on Friday.

Dostal will get the nod for the tail-end of Anaheim's back-to-back when they travel to Edmonton to take on the Oilers on Friday. Dostal was excellent in his last appearance, stopping 32 of the 34 shots he faced in a 3-2 victory over the Devils on New Year's Eve. The 24-year-old netminder owns a 10-10-3 record and an impressive .914 SV% on the season. He'll need to be at his best again on Friday against Connor McDavid and the Oilers, as the Ducks enter action at +375 on the money line.

Dostal will start against the Devils on Tuesday.

It appears John Gibson may still not be fully recovered from his illness, as the Ducks will turn to Dostal for a third consecutive game. Dostal secured the victory his last time out, allowing three goals on 23 shots in a 5-3 win over the Oilers on Sunday. The 24-year-old netminder brings a 9-10-3 record and a .913 SV% into Tuesday's clash with the Devils. He'll need to be at his best again tonight with the Ducks entering action at +230 on the money line.

Lukas Dostal
Clang has been reassigned to San Diego (AHL).

Clang was recalled several days ago to serve as Lukas Dostal's backup due to John Gibson (illness) being out of the lineup. The 22-year-old Clang did not make it into the Ducks' crease and will return to the San Diego Gulls (AHL), where he has a 3.10 GAA and .896 SV% in 19 games (7-10-1).
