The Ducks signed Jackson LaCombe to a two-year contract extension worth $1.85 million ($925K AAV).

LaCombe turned pro in 2023 following his senior year at the University of Minnesota. He was a full-time NHLer in 2024, appearing in 71 games for the Ducks, collecting two goals and 15 assists (17 points). The 23-year-old should be a key part of the Ducks' blueline again in 2024-25.

Anaheim has signed Stian Solberg to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Solberg was selected No.23 overall in this year's NHL Draft. The 18-year-old blue liner spent the 2024 season with Vålerenga (Norway), where he had 15 points (5G / 10A) in 42 games. He also represented Norway at the World Juniors, where he had two points (1G / 1A) in five games. It is expected that he will play with Färjestad BK (SHL) in 2025.

Anaheim has signed Jansen Harkins to a two-year contract.

Harkins has been a fringe NHLer for the last two seasons, splitting his time between the NHL and AHL. In 2024, he had 12 points (5G / 7A) in 14 AHL games and four assists in 45 NHL games with the Penguins. Now with the Ducks, he'll likely be in the mix as their No.12 forward.

Anaheim has signed Vyacheslav Buteyets to a two-year, entry-level contract.

Buteyets was Anaheim's 2022 sixth-round pick (178th overall) and signed a two-year, entry-level contract on Wednesday. The 21-year-old netminder just finished his third season with Chelmet Chelyabinsk (VHL), and had an impressive .913 SV% and 2.57 GAA.

Dostal will start in Vegas on Thursday.

Dostal will make back-to-back starts to close out the 2023-24 season as the Ducks are opting to give him the nod over John Gibson in Thursday's regular season finale. Dostal took the loss his last time out, allowing three goals on 28 shots in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Kings. He comes into tonight's game with a .900 SV% and a 13-23-3 record across 43 appearances. Unsurprisingly, he is a longshot to get back in the win column on Thursday with the Ducks being +310 underdogs in Vegas.

Gauthier will make his NHL debut on Thursday vs. Vegas.

Gauthier was acquired in a trade from the Philadelphia Flyers earlier this season and will make his NHL debut on Thursday against the Vegas Golden Knights. The 20-year-old Gauthier was the fifth overall pick of the Flyers in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft and has spent the last two seasons playing collegiate hockey. He scored an impressive 65 points (38G / 27A) in 41 games with Boston College this season.

Mrazek will start on Tuesday in Vegas.

The Blackhawks will go with Mrazek between the pipes in their penultimate game of the season. Mrazek has allowed three or fewer goals in six straight (2-4-0) but was unvictorious in his last outing, allowing three goals on 33 shots (.909 SV%) in a 4-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. The Blackhawks enter action as significant +339 road underdogs.

Husso has been recalled from the Grand Rapid's Griffins (AHL).

Husso has been sidelined since mid-February due to a lower-body injury and was loaned to the Grand Rapids Griffins for a conditioning stint last week. The 29-year-old Husso had struggled when called upon this season with a 9-5-2 record, 3.55 GAA and .892 SV%.

Nesterenko has been reassigned to San Diego (AHL) on Wednesday.

Nesterenko was the sixth-round pick of the Minnesota Wild in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft and played the last three games with the Ducks, scoring one goal. The 22-year-old played nine games with the Ducks last season and has 33 points (15G / 18A) in 63 games with the San Diego Gulls (AHL).

Dostal will start Tuesday vs. the Kings.

The Ducks, losers of seven of their last eight (1-5-2), will turn to Dostal in the crease for the fifth straight game. Dostal has allowed three or fewer goals in three of his last four (1-2-1) but allowed five on 31 shots (.839 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 6-5 loss to the St. Louis Blues. The Ducks enter action as +248 home underdogs on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Kings.
