Poehling (undisclosed) is questionable to play Thursday vs. the Ducks.

There is no indication what Poehling is dealing with but a flu bug has been going through the Habs room, so it could be that. Consider Poehling a game-time decision and monitor his status as they hit the ice for warmups at 6:30 PM ET.

Ryan Poehling
Gibson will start Thursday in Montreal.

Gibson allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Ducks win in Ottawa on Tuesday. Gibson has won three of his last five starts while posting a 2.80 GAA and .905 SV%. He gets set to take on a Canadiens team that has won five of their last seven games while scoring a strong 3.71 goals per game.

John Gibson
Kreider (upper-body) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday.

Kreider was a full participant in Tuesday's practice but head coach David Quinn called him a game-time decision for tonight's game vs. the Maple Leafs. The Rangers are expected to shake things up, so it's unknown where Kreider will slot in if he plays.

Gibson led the Ducks onto the ice for warmups.

Gibson allowed four goals on 22 shots in the Ducks loss to the Lightning last Friday. Gibson has gone 5-13-2 with a 3.36 GAA and .896 SV% in 20 road starts this season but draws a solid matchup in Ottawa. Since the Christmas break, the Senators have gone 2-6-6 while scoring just 2.57 goals per game.

Kreider (upper-body) will be a game-time decision on Monday.

Kreider was hurt in Saturday's win in Detroit but was on the ice for Monday's morning skate and will be a game-time decision vs. the Stars. Kreider has been absolutely red-hot, scoring at a point-per-game pace with 22 points (12G / 10A) in his last 22 games.

Chris Kreider
Kreider is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Kreider took a knee from teammate Mika Zibanejad mid-way through their win over the Red Wings on Saturday. The Rangers said it's not a concussion and was already feeling better after the game but Phil Di Giuseppe was recalled from Hartford (AHL) which suggests that he won't be available for Monday's game vs. the Stars.

Gibson starts Wednesday vs. the Coyotes.

Gibson allowed four goals on 31 shots in the Ducks loss in San Jose on Monday. Gibson has lost four of his last five outings while posting a 3.25 GAA and .899 SV%. Tonight he faces the Coyotes for the fourth time this season--he's gone 1-1-1 with a 2.62 GAA and .916 SV% in the first three meetings.

John Gibson

The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Gibson, who is 1-1-0 with a 3.03 GAA and .915 SV% in two games against the Sharks this season. San Jose comes in on a three-game losing streak, scoring just four goals during that time.

John Gibson
The Ducks recalled Troy Terry from San Diego (AHL).

Terry has been out since December 17th with a small fracture below his knee cap. Terry was originally expected to miss 10 weeks, so he made a speedy recovery. Terry absolutely lit it up during his conditioning stint, posting 10 points (3G / 7A) in seven games. The 22-year-old had eight points (3G / 5A) in 33 games with the Ducks before getting hurt.

Stalock will start Monday vs. the Panthers.

Stalock stopped all 27 shots that he faced in the Wild's 7-0 shutout win over the Stars on Saturday night. He has won two in a row while stopping 45 of the 47 shots ( .957 SV%) that he's faced and will make his third straight start tonight vs. the Panthers. Stalock has been excellent at the Xcel Energy Center, going 7-1-1 with a 2.10 GAA and .924 SV% in 11 games (9 starts).
