Terry suffered a non-displaced fracture while blocking shot in Calgary on Friday. Terry will obviously miss the rest of the season but will be ready for training camp next season. Terry finishes the year with 13 points (4G / 9A) in 32 NHL games.

Brossoit allowed one goal on two shots after replacing Connor Hellebuyck after he was cut by a Nikita Kucherov shot on Tuesday. The Predators were likely looking to add a centre like Matt Duchene or Kevin Hayes but pivoted to Granlund when those two were traded to Columbus and Winnipeg respectively. Granlund is a player who plays on the wing as well and is know primarily as a playmaker, but is on-pace for his third straight 20-plus goal season. Granlund seems like a player who will either bump Kyle Turris down the lineup and centre the second line or play on Turris’ wing.

Jensen was acquired from Detroit and signed an extension with Washington on Friday but did not get in until after midnight, so he will sit for their first game. Jensen will likely replace Christian Djoos or Brooks Orpik on Sunday.

The Capitals acquired Jensen from the Red Wings on Friday afternoon and wasted no time signing the 28-year-old to an extension. Jensen carried a +1.1 CF% rel in 60 games with the Red Wings this season, picking up two goals and 13 assists (15 points) along the way.

Jensen was a fifth-round pick back in 2009 and was a late-bloomer. Jensen didn’t make his NHL debut until 2017, after 222 career AHL games, and never looked back. Jensen is a reliable two-way defenseman that can be leaned on to kill penalties. He will likely line-up next to Brooks Orpik/Christian Djoos in the third pairing.

Brossoit allowed five goals on 32 shots in the Jets loss in Ottawa last Saturday. Brossoit will get another crack at the Senators tonight and comes in having lost his last two starts while allowing a combined eight goals on 63 shots (.873 SV%). The 25-year-old has gone 5-0-1 with a 1.81 GAA and .953 SV% on home-ice this season.
