Callahan was a healthy scratch vs. the Jets on Thursday but will replace Parker Wotherspoon in the lineup on Saturday. Callahan has gone pointless in his first four career NHL games.


Eyssimont will take a seat on Thursday, with Cam Atkinson drawing into the lineup in his place. Eyssimont has four goals and three assists in 47 games this season.

Brandon Carlo will return to Boston's lineup after missing one game due to an illness, resulting in Callahan returning to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 25-year-old Callahan has only played four games with the Bruins this season, averaging 15:45 time-on-ice and scoring zero points.

McAvoy has not played since January 11th, missing seven games, but will return to the lineup on Thursday after practicing for the last several days. The 27-year-old McAvoy is averaging 23:41 time-on-ice but is having an off season offensively, scoring 20 points (5G / 15A) in 45 games.

The Bruins are coming off a disappointing 7-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres and will revert to Korpisalo between the pipes on Thursday against the Winnipeg Jets. Korpisalo was tremendous in his most recent outing, saving all 29 shots he faced in a 2-0 win over the Ottawa Senators for his second shutout of the season. The 30-year-old netminder has a 2.70 GAA and .899 SV% in 17 appearances this season (9-4-2). The Bruins enter the action on Thursday as +131 home underdogs against a Jets club outscoring their opposition 17-7 during a four-game winning streak.

The 26-year-old netminder has a 2.95 GAA and .898 SV% in 36 games this season (16-16-4). The Bruins enter Tuesday's contest as slight -104 road underdogs against a Sabres team they defeated 3-1 on December 21st.

Lindholm has been sidelined since November 12th but appears to be nearing a return to the lineup after practicing on Monday. The 30-year-old defenseman was averaging 20:51 time-on-ice and had seven points (3G / 4A) in 17 games before his injury this season. The Bruins return to action on Tuesday against the Buffalo Sabres, but head coach Joe Sacco has stated it is too early for Lindholm's return.

Jeremy Swayman was battling an undisclosed ailment that prevented his from suiting up on Thursday, resulting in Boston recalling DiPietro from Providence (AHL) to serve as Joonas Korpisalo's backup in their 2-0 win over the Ottawa Senators. The 25-year-old DiPietro has been outstanding in the AHL this season, posting a 1.95 GAA and .930 SV% in 22 games (14-5-3) with Providence.

Brown played his second game with Boston this season in Thursday's 2-0 win over the Ottawa Senators but has been reassigned to Providence (AHL). The 32-year-old has 25 points (9G / 16A) in 37 games with Providence this season.

Swayman missed the second half of Boston's back-to-back on Thursday due to an upper-body ailment but returned to practice on Friday and looks like an option to return on Saturday vs. Colorado. The 26-year-old had a well-documented contract dispute to begin the season and has followed it up with a below-average 15-16-4 record, .896 SV% and 3.00 GAA this year.

Brown will make his second appearance of the season on Thursday as the Bruins look to get some fresh legs into their lineup for the tail-end of their back-to-back. Max Jones will sit in his place.

Callahan will slide in for Jordan Oesterle, who is a healthy scratch. It's just the second game of the season for Callahan, who made his NHL debut on January 14th against the Lightning.

A night after a disappointing 5-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils, the Bruins will turn to Korpisalo between the pipes. Korpisalo stopped five of six shots (.833 SV%) in relief last night. The 30-year-old netminder has a 2.88 GAA and .891 SV% in 16 games this season (8-4-2). The Bruins enter the contest as +139 home underdogs against an Ottawa Senators club coming off a 5-0 loss to the New York Rangers.

Swayman allowed four goals on 29 shots (.862 SV%) in last night's 5-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils and might be unavailable for tonight's game against the Ottawa Senators. Boston has recalled goaltender Michael DiPietro from the Providence Bruins (AHL) for precautionary reasons.
