Johnson (illness) is expected to be back in the Lightning lineup on Thursday.

Johnson missed Tuesday’s game in Vegas with an illness but was back on the ice this morning for the gameday skate and is expected to play vs. Ottawa. Johnson has been great as of late, picking up four goals and eight assists (12 points) in his last seven games.

Krejci will miss Thursday’s game with an upper body injury.

Krejci will miss third straight game with an upper-body injury and may not be back before the Christmas break. After tonight the Bruins last game before the break is Saturday vs. the Red Wings. Monitor Krejci’s status over the next couple of days.

Korpisalo will start Wednesday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Korpisalo allowed two goals on 12 shots in relief of Sergei Bobrovsky in the Blue Jackets loss to the Oilers on December 12th. With Bobrovsky struggling right now, Korpisalo will get a shot tonight vs. the Maple Leafs, who will counter with former Columbus netminder Curtis McElhinney. Korpisalo is 2-1-0 with a 2.36 GAA and .918 SV% on home ice.

Rask will start Monday vs. Columbus.

Rask allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Bruins OT loss to the Rangers on Saturday. The loss snapped a three-game win streak for Rask, who will make his 20th start of the season tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. Rask lost in his first start vs. Columbus but has been great in December, going 4-0-1 with a 1.44 GAA and .947 SV% in five starts and one relief appearance.

Rask will start Saturday vs. the Rangers.

Rask allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Bruins overtime win in Detroit on Wednesday. Rask has now won three straight while posting a 1.34 GAA And .953 SV%. Today he faces the Rangers time for the second time this season—he allowed three goals on 32 shots in a 4-2 loss in New York in early-November.

Rask stopped 30 of 31 shots in the Bruins win over the Islanders last Saturday. Rask has won each of his last four starts and played well in relief last Monday—he has a 1.10 GAA, .955 SV% and one shutout in those five appearances. Tonight he looks to keep things rolling against a Red Wings team that has gone 1-5-4 in their last 10 games.

Rask stopped 20 of 21 shots in the Bruins win over the Coyotes on Thursday. After some early-November struggles, Rask has found his groove since returning to the crease, posting a 1.55 GAA, .950 SV% and one shutout in four starts and one relief appearance. The Islanders come in having lost three of their last four, but they are the second highest scoring team in hockey.

Rask allowed one goal on 11 shots after replacing Anton Khudobin in the Bruins’ 5-3 loss to the Predators on Monday. After a four-game break, Rask has gone 2-1-0 with a 1.68 GAA, .940 SV% and one shutout in his last three starts. Tonight he will take on the 7-18-5 Coyotes, who have lost four of their last five games.

Rask allowed two goals on 21 shots in the Bruins win over the Lightning on Wednesday. Rask appears to be slowly getting back on track as he’s now stopped 51 of the last 56 shots (.911 SV%) he has faced in his last two starts. This afternoon he will make his third straight start in Philadelphia—the Flyers have lost nine in a row (0-4-5) coming into the weekend.

Despite Anton Khudobin riding a four-game winning streak prior to that start, the Bruins will come back to Rask again tonight vs. the Lightning. Tampa Bay has cooled off a bit recently, going 2-3-0 while averaging just 2.20 goals for per game in their last five contests.
