Rask will start Monday in Toronto.

Rask was pulled after he allowed five goals on 17 shots in the Bruins’ loss in Edmonton last Thursday. Despite the rough loss, Rask is expected to start both games of the Bruins’ key back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday. Rask is 0-1-0 with a 4.69 GAA And .788 SV% in two starts against the Maple Leafs this season.

Rask made 26 saves on 29 shots in the Bruins’ win in Vancouver on Monday. Anton Khudobin gave him the night off yesterday, but Rask will start tonight in Edmonton. He has won three in a row while turning away 78 of 83 shots (.940 SV%). Tonight Rask will see an Oilers team trying to get back on track—they’ve lost three of their last four, but won 7-1 on Tuesday.

Johnson will miss his second straight game with a lower-body injury that he suffered last Thursday vs. the Wild. He traveled with the team which suggests he shouldn’t be sidelined longterm, but there’s nothing to suggest that he will play on the trip.

Korpisalo allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Blue Jackets’ loss in Ottawa last Saturday. Korpisalo has gone 5-2-0 with a 2.65 GAA, .915 SV% and one shutout since being called up. He is an interesting spot-start option in Buffalo—the Sabres have lost four straight.

Rask allowed one goal on 27 shots in the Bruins’ win over the Red Wings on Wednesday. Rask has won three of his last five starts while posting a 2.01 GAA and .926 SV%. The 30-year-old has gone 1-0-1 with a 2.41 GAA and .889 SV% vs. the Flyers this season.

Johnson (lower-body) will not play on Saturday.

Johnson suffered a lower-body injury on Thursday and is listed as day-to-day and will miss tonight’s game vs. Florida. The Lightning will also be without Vladislav Namestnikov and Cedric Paquette, so expect them to go with 11 forwards and seven defenseman.

Johnson left last night’s game following a hit from Wild forward Nino Niederreiter. His injury could leave a big hole in fantasy lineups as he has been hot for the better part of two months—Johnson has collected six goals and 12 assists (18 points) in his last 17 games. The Lightning get back in action on Saturday, so expect an update on Johnson’s status in the next 24 hours.

Rask allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Bruins’ loss in Ottawa on Monday. Rask has dropped three of his last five starts while posting a 2.61 GAA and .902 SV%. Tonight he will take on the Red Wings for the fourth time this season—he has gone 2-0-1 with a 2.54 GAA and .893 SV% in the first three meetings.

Monitor his status prior to tomorrow’s game vs. the Blue Jackets—they’ll go with 11 forwards and seven defensemen with Zacha and Michael Cammalleri out tonight.

Rask stopped 22 of 23 shots in the Bruins’ win over the Coyotes on Tuesday. Rask has won five of his last six starts while posting a 1.99 GAA, .927 SV% and one shutout. In his first start against the Rangers, Rask allowed five goals on 24 shots in a 5-2 loss. New York has lost three of their last five.
