Khusnutdinov (lower-body) will return to Minnesota's lineup vs. Chicago on Friday.

Ben Jones will exit the lineup on Friday, allowing Khusnutdinov to return from a lower-body injury. Khusnutdinov was the 37th overall pick of the Minnesota Wild in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. The 21-year-old has been adjusting to his first full NHL season, averaging 11:26 time-on-ice, scoring two points (0G / 2A).

Swayman will start vs. Pittsburgh on Friday.

Swayman has only played three of the last six games for the Bruins but will return to the crease on Friday. The 26-year-old Swayman has had an up-and-down 2024-25 campaign, posting an ugly 3.16 GAA and .888 SV% in 16 games (6-8-2). That said, he has saved 32 of 34 shots faced (.941 SV%) over his last two games (1-1-0). The Bruins enter Friday's contest as -166 home favorites against a Pittsburgh Penguins club coming off a 5-4 victory over the Vancouver Canucks, the first time they have scored over four goals since October 16th.

In their first game in the post-Jim Montgomery era, Bruins' head coach Joe Sacco will turn to Korpisalo between the pipes. The 30-year-old Korpisalo has been serviceable, improving as the season goes on, posting a stellar .926 SV% in his last five outings (2-1-1). The Bruins enter the action on Thursday as -150 home favorites against the Utah Hockey Club, outscored 10-4 during a two-game losing skid.
