Tufte played 11:28 in his Avalanche debut on Wednesday, recording four shots, one hit, and a -1 plus/minus rating. He has now been reassigned to the Colorado Eagles where he has eight points (6G / 2A) in six games.

It's the first missed game of the young season for Zadorov. The 28-year-old blue-liner has no goals, two assists and 19 hits through his opening nine games. Jordan Oesterle will draw back into the lineup in place of Zadorov.

Lohrei is likely to make his NHL debut on Thursday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Lohrei was one of three defensemen recalled by Boston from Providence (AHL), along with Ian Mitchell and Parker Wotherspoon, as they will be without regulars Matt Grzelcyk (upper-body) and Charlie McAvoy (suspension). Lohrei was the Bruins' 58th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft and has four points (0G / 4A) in seven games at the AHL level this season.

The hit occurred in the third period of Monday's game against the Panthers. McAvoy received a match penalty on the play and was ejected from the game. It's the second suspension of McAvoy's after he was previously suspended one game for an illegal hit to the head on then Columbus Blue Jackets forward Josh Anderson in Game Six of the 2019 Eastern Conference Semi-finals. He will be eligible to return on October 11th in Montreal.

The 22-year-old defenseman will make his NHL debut if he finds himself in the Bruins lineup this weekend after playing in only 10 total AHL games after joining Providence from Ohio State (NCAA) at the end of his collegiate career in 2022-23.

Minten was one of the league's biggest camp surprises when he cracked the Maple Leafs' opening night roster but has been returned to Kamloops (WHL) after being a healthy scratch in Toronto's previous two outings. The 19-year-old was Toronto's 2022 second round pick (38th overall) and failed to pick up a point across his four game showing with the Maple Leafs early in the season. He returns to Kamloops, where he had 31 goals, 36 assists, 55 PIMs and a +24 plus/minus in 57 games played in 2022-23.

Until one goalie can prove himself as the undisputed number one, the two will likely continue to rotate starts. Tonight, Korpisalo and the Senators are +113 road underdogs against a New York Islanders team that has lost three straight.

The 24-year-old has split starts this season but has been fantastic when called upon as he is 2-0-0 with a .943 SV% and a 2.02 GAA. He will look to keep the Bruins' perfect record intact as they take on the Chicago Blackhawks, who have lost four of their last five games and are 25th in the NHL in goals per game (2.33).
