Clifton skated in two games with Providence this weekend but returns to the Bruins where he has just two goals in 30 games this season.

Kuraly was a healthy scratch in Minnesota on Saturday but will replace Joakim Norstrom in the lineup on Tuesday. Kuraly has just one goal and one assist in his last 11 games.

McAvoy was officially listed as a game-time decision but was expected to play tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. McAvoy missed the previous three games but comes in with four assists in his last seven games.

McAvoy missed the last three games with a lower-body injury but is expected to be back in tonight vs. Columbus. McAvoy is still looking for his first goal of the season but has 13 assists and a plus-13 rating in 38 games.

Clifton suffered an upper-body injury early in Sunday's game vs. the Sabres and will not play against the Devils tomorrow. With Clifton and Charlie McAvoy definitely out and Torey Krug not expected to travel, look for the recently recalled Jeremy Lauzon to play with Matt Grzelcyk.

McAvoy suffered a lower-body injury in Boston's win vs. the Capitals last Monday but it was believed to be minor. His move to IR suggests that he'll miss Tuesday's game in New Jersey. He is eligible to return whenever he is healthy but the move to IR opens up a roster spot to call-up Jeremy Lauzon from Providence (AHL).

Zacha missed one game with a lower-body injury but will replace Kevin Rooney tonight in Ottawa. Zacha has three goals and 13 assists (16 points) in 33 games this season.

McAvoy was not on the ice for Saturday's practice and will miss his second straight game on Sunday. It seems possible that McAvoy could be back in the lineup as soon as Tuesday in New Jersey.

McAvoy did not travel to Buffalo for Friday's game but it's a quick one-game trip, so he could be back as soon as Sunday. This is a huge loss for the Bruins, who also placed Torey Krug on IR this morning.

Zacha was in the morning skate but left early and is listed as a game-time decision. If Zacha can't play, look for Kevin Rooney to draw into the lineup.

Clifton has been a healthy scratch for the last three games but will replace John Moore, who is out with an illness. Clifton has two goals on 19 shots (10.5 SH%) and a plus-4 rating in 25 games this season.

Thatcher Demko is out indefinitely with a concussion, so DiPietro comes up from Utica to serve as Jacob Markstrom's backup on Thursday. With a back-to-back coming up this weekend, Demko could make his season debut in San Jose (Sat) or Vegas (Sun). He is 8-4-1 with a 2.56 GAA and .910 SV% with Utica this season.

Clifton replaced John Moore in the lineup last night but they will trade places again on Thursday. The Bruins didn't want Moore to play in back-to-back games after making his season debut just one week ago.

DiPietro came up while Jacob Markstrom was away from the team. Markstrom returned over the weekend, so DiPietro heads back to the AHL, where he is 7-4-1 with a 2.44 GAA and .913 SV% in 13 games this season.

Clifton was in the lineup for the last three games but will take a seat with John Moore (shoulder) set to make his season debut.

Gaunce appeared in one game during his call-up and picked up one assist in 9:10 TOI. He returns to the AHL to make room for John Moore to come back from his conditioning stint.

DiPietro has gone 7-4-1 with a 2.44 GAA and .913 SV% in his first 13 AHL starts this year. The 20-year-old, former third-round pick has received his first call-up of the season because Jacob Markstrom has been granted a leave of absence to go to Sweden for his father's memorial service. DiPietro likely won't play a game but should serve as Thatcher Demko's backup on Tuesday.
