Zacha left Sunday's game with an undisclosed injury and did not return. Zacha underwent some imaging on Monday and is meeting with team doctors on Tuesday, so consider him day-to-day until the Devils provide more information.

McAvoy missed the last four games with an upper-body injury but was on the ice for Tuesday's morning skate and could play vs. the Sabres. McAvoy skated on PP2 and comes in with 22 points (4G / 18A) in 35 games this season.

McAvoy has returned to Boston to receive treatment on his upper-body injury, so he'll miss at least the three remaining games of their current road trip. With McAvoy out, Steven Kampfer will remain in the lineup and see some PP2 time.

Arvidsson missed Tuesday's game in Detroit but he's expected to play in the rematch on Thursday. Arvidsson has scored five goals with 13 assists (18 points) in 39 games this season and will likely skate on the top line with Ryan Johansen if he ends up playing.

Arvidsson exited Saturday's win over the Blackhawks with an upper-body injury and is questionable to play in Detroit. He travelled with the team but his status for tonight's game is unclear.
