Peeke had a Mike Green slap-shot ramp up his stick and off of his hand during Tuesday's win in Detroit and he broke his finger on the play. Peeke will be out until mid-to-late January and Gabriel Carlsson was recalled from Cleveland to take his spot on the roster.

Despite Rask losing four straight starts with a 3.50 GAA and .878 SV%, the Bruins will give him two starts in a row. Rask still hasn't lost in regulation on home-ice, going 8-0-4 with a 2.20 GAA, .925 SV% and two shutouts at the TD Garden. He is a solid option against an Islanders team that is 3-4-1 while scoring 2.13 goals per game in their last eight road games.
Peeke suffered a hand injury Tuesday in Detroit and will come out of the lineup vs. the Kings. Scott Harrington will draw into the Blue Jackets lineup to replace Peeke, who is listed as day-to-day.

It wasn't his best outing but it was enough to earn the victory and move him to 3-0-2 with a 1.69 GAA, .943 SV% and one shutout in his last five games. Now they return home, where Korpisalo has gone 9-8-1 with a 2.53 GAA, .905 SV% and two shutouts this season.

With Elvis Merzlikins struggling and a very winnable game on-tap, Korpisalo will start on back-to-back nights. He allowed four goals on 26 shots in a win in his first start vs. the Red Wings and is 2-0-2 with a 1.34 GAA and .958 SV% in his last four starts.
Rask allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Bruins loss in Tampa Bay last Thursday. Rask has lost three in a row while allowing a combined 10 goals on 88 shots (.886 SV%). Despite riding a losing streak, the Bruins announced that Rask will start three of the next four games. He has a nice matchup vs. the Kings on home-ice, where he is 8-0-3 this season.
Johnson has missed the last four games with a lower-body injury but head coach Jon Cooper said that he is "good-to-go" tonight vs. the Senators. Johnson could skate in the top-6 if Nikita Kucherov can't play--he is listed as a game-time decision. Johnson has seven goals and seven assists (14 points) in 27 games this season.

Korpisalo's last three outings have all been strong, as he's posted a .944 SV% but has lost two of three. The win came against the Capitals, who he'll face again tonight--last Monday he stopped 37 of 39 in a 5-2 victory.
Johnson will miss his third consecutive game with a lower-body injury but the Lightning reiterated that they don't believe it is a long-term injury.

With the Bruins on the tail-end of a back-to-back in Tampa Bay, this is a rare night where you would consider benching Rask. In his first start vs. the Lightning, Rask allowed three goals on 36 shots in a 4-3 shootout loss and that was in Boston.

Everything remains pretty quiet on the Bergeron injury front, but head coach Bruce Cassidy is hopeful he'll be back at practice on Friday. If that's the case, it would open the door for a possible return to the lineup Saturday vs. the Avalanche.
