Kozak made his NHL debut earlier this season and has one point (1G / 0A) in 11 games with the Sabres. The 22-year-old forward has spent most of the 2024-25 campaign in the AHL, tallying 13 points (7G / 6A) in 28 games with the Rochester Americans.

The 27-year-old Thompson has been tremendous offensively lately, scoring 14 points (7G / 7A) in his last nine games.
