The Sabres have recalled Devon Levi from Rochester (AHL).

Levi has not started an NHL games since January 9th, so the Sabres sent him back to the AHL to get in some game action on Saturday. Levi allowed three goals on 17 shots in a 7-3 win for Rochester. He'll now accompany the team on their California road-trip, where he figures to start either Tuesday in Anaheim or Wednesday in Los Angeles. Levi is 8-7-2 with a 3.32 GAA and .889 SV% in 19 NHL appearances this season.

In his last contest, Lyon saved 32 of 34 shots (.941 SV%) in a 3-2 win over his former team, the Florida Panthers. Lyon has been a calming presence between the pipes for the Red Wings, providing stability while allowing three or fewer goals in each of his last six games (5-0-1), boasting a stellar .927 SV%. That said, the Red Wings are +180 road underdogs on Friday against the Carolina Hurricanes, coming off a 5-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings.
