Riley Sheahan was recalled from Rochester (AHL) Tuesday and will slot directly into the lineup.

Sheehan will make his season debut Tuesday after being recalled from Rochester of the AHL. In six games with the Sabres' minor-league affiliate, the 31-year-old veteran has three assists and is a +3 plus/minus prior to his call-up. He currently sits on 194 points (74G/120A) through 635 career NHL games played.

Jack Quinn is being evaluated for an undisclosed injury and is not expected to play this week.

Quinn has been enjoying a solid rookie season prior to his injury, scoring a goal and five points along with 15 SOG through 12 games played. The 21-year-old is considered week-to-week with an undisclosed injury after it was announced Monday he was being evaluated.

Jordan Greenway had a setback in his return to the lineup and will miss Friday vs. Seattle

Greenway returned from a trip to the injured reserve Tuesday, playing 14:38 and collecting a -1 rating as he eased his way back into the Wild lineup vs. Los Angeles. He did not play Wednesday as a rest day with the back-to-back schedule but is now facing a minor setback in his return to the lineup. Consider him day-to-day for the time being.

Jordan Greenway will not play as part of the Wilds' back-to-back (rest).

Greenway returned from a trip to the injured reserve Tuesday, playing 14:38 and collecting a -1 rating as he eased his way back into the Wild lineup vs. Los Angeles. He is using Wednesday's day off for rest as the Wild do not want to push him with their back-to-back games.

Bowen Byram has a lower-body injury and is week-to-week.

Byram did not play in the Avalanche's second half of their back-to-back series in Finland and was announced Tuesday that he would be out week-to-week with a lower-body injury. It is unfortunately the second straight season in which Colorado's highly touted 21-year-old will miss a significant chunk of the season due injury. He had five points (2G/3A) in his first 10 games of the season.

Rasmus Dahlin will be back in the Sabres' lineup Tuesday (upper body)

Dahlin missed the Sabres' previous game due to an upper-body injury as Buffalo fell to Tampa Bay 5-3 in his absence. The 22-year-old has been enjoying a breakout season, ranking second in the NHL among defensemen in goals (7) and points (15) while alost being tied for fourth with a +10 plus/minus rating.

Jacob Bernard-Docker will make his season debut Tuesday vs. Vancouver

Bernard-Docker will make his season alongside Thomas Chabot Tuesday for the Senators. In eight games with Belleville of the AHL prior to his call up, the 2018 1st round pick (26th overall) had one assist and six PIMs while posting a +3 plus/minus. He brings 13 games of NHL experience to Ottawa's line-up.

Rasmus Dahlin has a chance to play Tuesday vs. Arizona (upper-body).

Dahlin missed Buffalo's previous game due to an upper-body injury and has a chance to draw back into the Sabres' lineup Tuesday. The fewer games he misses the better as Dahlin is having an incredible breakout season, ranking second among NHL defensemen in both goals (7) and points (15).

Back Malenstyn will miss 6-8 weeks after undergoing finger surgery

Malenstyn will miss 6-8 weeks after blocking a shot against Vegas in the Capitals' previous game. He will undergo surgery to stabilize a finger fracture. In five games with Washington this season, he has two points (1G/1A) and four shots, while averaging only 8:34 TOI.

Peyton Krebs will be back in the Sabres lineup Thursday

Krebs draws back into the Sabres lineup after being a healthy scratch for Buffalo's last two games. the 21-year-old prospect is yet to score his first goal of the season but has one assist and four PIM across four games so far in 2022-23.

Samuelsson (lower-body) is expected to miss a few weeks.

Samuelsson went down awkwardly in a collision with Curtis Lazar on Saturday and is expected to miss a few weeks. This is probably the best-case scenario because it looked like the injury may have been serious when it first happened. Owen Power and Ilya Lyubushkin have been skating with Rasmus Dahlin since Samuelsson got hurt.

Norris (shoulder) will be out "long-term."

The Senators do not have a timeline for Norris' return but it's going to be long-term and they're not certain that he'll play again this season. Norris could require surgery but that decision won't be made for a few days. Derick Brassard filled in for Norris on Monday, but Shane Pinto could end up being the long-term solution with Alex DeBrincat and Claude Giroux.
