Samuelsson (upper-body) is expected to be back in the Sabres lineup on Thursday.

Samuelsson missed the Sabres' previous two games due to an upper-body injury but is expected to return to the lineup Thursday as they take on Dallas. The 22-year-old stay-at-home defenseman has a goal, seven assists, 65 SOG, 18 PIMs and a +12 plus/minus through 46 games this season.

The Sabres have acquired Jordan Greenway from the Wild for a 2023 2nd Round Pick and a 2024 5th Round Pick.

A second-round pick in the 2016 NHL entry draft, Greenway's development stalled after a 12-goal rookie campaign in the 2018-19 season. He has just two goals and five assists in 45 games this season, though he's been limited to an ATOI of 13:18. He gets a welcomed change of scenery with the Sabres.

Kesselring will make his NHL debut on Friday.

Kesselring has 13 goals, nine assists, 40 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus through 49 games with the Bakersfield Condors (AHL) and was dealt to the Edmonton Oilers alongside a 2023 3rd Round Pick for Nick Bjugstad (50% salary retention) earlier this week. He will make both his Coyotes' and NHL debut Friday.

Luukkonen allowed four goals on 30 shots (.867 SV%) but still picked up his second win in three games as he beat Washington last start. The 23-year-old has a great record despite mediocre counting stats, as shown by his 15-8-2 record, 3.57 GAA and.893 SV%. He takes on the Goliath that is the Boston Bruins, who are in the midst of a nine-game winning streak and are third in the NHL in goals per game (3.73).
