Reimer stopped all 12 shots that he faced after replacing Roberto Luongo in the Panthers come-from-behind shootout win in Detroit on Monday. Reimer has strung together three straight wins, stopping 72 of the 76 shots (.947 SV%) that he has faced. In his first start against the Blue Jackets, the 30-year-old allowed five goals on 32 shots in a 5-4 loss (Oct.11).
Bishop surrendered three goals on 38 shots in the Stars overtime loss to the Canadiens on Monday. Bishop has played very well as of late, going 3-1-1 while allowing just eight goals on 151 shots (.947 SV%). He makes for a great start again tonight vs. the 15-16-7 Devils at American Airlines Center, where Bishop is 8-3-2 with a 2.09 GAA and .933 SV%.
Pilut has been in the lineup for the last three games and even played 20:22 TOI on Thursday but is expected to be a scratch on Saturday. Nathan Beaulieu is expected to draw in for Pilut.
Pilut has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury but will return tonight in Washington. The AHL standout has two assists and three shots on goal in six games since being recalled.
Bishop allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Stars loss to the Blackhawks on Thursday. Bishop has been consistent from month-to-month and comes into Saturday’s game at 3-4-0 with a 2.48 GAA and .918 SV% in December. In his first start against the Wild, Bishop stopped 33 of 35 shots in a 3-1 loss (Oct.19).
Bishop stopped all 21 shots that he faced in the Stars shutout win over the Flames on Tuesday. Bishop left the game briefly but returned to complete the team shutout. Bishop has gone 3-3-0 with a 2.38 GAA and .922 SV% in December and is a must-start tonight vs. the Blackhawks. The 32-year-old is 7-2-1 with a 2.02 GAA and .935 SV% on home-ice.
Zucker missed one game with an illness but will be back in the Wild’s lineup vs. the Sharks. Zucker will skate on the third line with Mikko Koivu and Luke Kunin to start the game.
Bishop allowed two goals on 16 shots after replacing Anton Khudobin in Colorado on Saturday. Since returning from injury, Bishop has gone 2-3-0 with a 2.85 GAA and .911 SV% in five appearances. Tonight he faces a Flames team that has gone 8-1-0 in their last nine but Bishop is 6-2-1 with a 2.22 GAA and .930 SV% on home-ice this season.
Reimer allowed five goals on 39 shots in the Panthers loss to the Lightning on December 1st. Reimer has struggled this season, sitting tied for 49th in both GAA (3.36) and SV% (.893). Tonight he faces the Wild in Minnesota and comes in at 2-2-1 with a 3.42 GAA and .885 SV% on the road this season.
Bishop allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Stars loss in Vegas on Sunday. The loss snapped a brief two-game winning streak for Bishop, who has stopped 89 of 95 shots (.937 SV%) since returning from injury on December 1st. In his first start against Anaheim (in Dallas, Oct.25), Bishop stopped 23 of 25 shots in a 5-2 win.
Bishop stopped 24 of 25 shots in the Stars win in Vancouver last Saturday. The Stars gave him a few extra days off by giving Anton Khudobin a start on Monday. In Bishop’s last four games, the Stars netminder has made 96 saves on 100 shots (.960 SV%) while going 3-0-0 in the process. Tonight he faces an underperforming Sharks team that is 5-7-3 on the road this season.
