Bishop allowed four goals on 35 shots in the Lightning’s loss to the Bruins on Tuesday. Bishop has lost three in a row while allowing a combined 11 goals on 73 shots (.849 SV%). Bishop has had a difficult season and tonight he faces the Ducks for the second time in a few weeks—he allowed two goals on 21 shots in a 2-1 OT loss on January 17th.

Tuch, 20, was a first round pick in 2014 (No.18 overall) and this is his first NHL call-up. Tuch has scored 11 goals with 11 assists (22 points) in his first 34 career AHL games and this call-up means he could make his NHL debut on Saturday.

Andrei Vasilevskiy has played in three of the last four games, but Bishop will go tonight vs. the Bruins. His first start against Boston didn’t go well—he allowed four goals on 30 shots in a 4-1 loss back in November.

Bishop has stopped 55 of the 58 shots (.948 SV%) that he has faced in two wins since retuning to the Lightning crease. With Andrei Vasilevskiy struggling in his absence, it’s not surprising to see Bishop go again tonight, especially because of the extra rest due to yesterday’s afternoon game.

Bishop allowed two goals on 26 shots in his return to the Lightning’s crease last Thursday. The Lightning are happy to have their No.1 netminder back between the pipes, but he comes into Los Angeles with a 5-6-2 record, 2.53 GAA and .915 SV% on the road in 2016-17.

Ennis has missed the last 30 games after undergoing groin surgery on November 10th. Ennis skated on the Sabres’ top line with Ryan O’Reilly and Kyle Okposo in Sunday’s practice and also played on the second power play unit as well. Ennis has one goal and one assist in 12 games earlier this season.

Andrei Vasilevskiy got the nod last night in a loss to the Canucks, so expect Bishop to start tonight in Edmonton. The 30-year-old netminder has gone 2-2-1 with a 2.28 GAA and .915 SV% in five appearances in the month of December.

Ennis underwent surgery for a double sports hernia in mid-November and was given a two-to-three month timetable. He is exactly one month in and has resumed skating, which is a good sign that he could return at the front-end of that timetable.

Bishop allowed a single goal on 30 shots in the Lightning’s overtime loss in Carolina on Sunday. Bishop has gone 1-0-1 while stopping 63 of 65 shots (.969 SV%) in his last two starts, so tonight he makes his third consecutive start. Bishop is a must-start vs. the Canucks, who currently rank 28th in the NHL in scoring (2.19 GF/PG).
