Bishop was pulled after allowing three goals on 17 shots in the Stars’ loss in Colorado on Tuesday. Bishop was not happy with Ken Hitchcock’s decision to yank him and will look to be better tonight in Edmonton. It was his worst start to date and comes in at 5-1-0 with a 2.38 GAA and .920 SV% in eight games.
Bishop surrendered three goals on 39 shots in the Stars win over the Hurricanes on Saturday. Bishop has been exactly what the Stars were hoping they got when they signed him this offseason—he has gone 5-1-0 with a 2.09 GAA and .928 SV% in seven starts this season, including a win against the Avalanche, who he will face again tonight—consider him a must-start yet again.
Reimer stopped 41 of 42 shots in the Panthers’ win over the Capitals on Saturday. It was an excellent outing for Reimer, who is now the Panthers’ No.1 netminder with Roberto Luongo (thumb) on IR. He has stopped 52 of the last 54 shots that he has faced and tonight he takes on a Montreal team that is dead last in scoring (1.50 GF/PG) right now.
Bishop stopped 27 of 28 shots in the Stars’ win over the Coyotes on Tuesday. Bishop has been excellent in his first five starts, going 3-1-0 with a 1.49 GAA and .944 SV% with his new team. He is a must-start again tonight as he faces Adin Hill and the Coyotes for the second straight game.
Bishop stopped 22 of 23 shots in the Stars’ 3-1 win over the Avalanche on Saturday. Bishop has enjoyed a great start to the season with his new team, posting a 1.62 GAA and .938 SV% en route to a 2-1-0 start. He is a must-start tonight against a Coyotes team that has started the year 0-4-1 with 2.20 goals for per game.
Bishop gave up three goals on 30 shots in the Stars’ loss in Nashville on Thursday. Bishop has played very well to start his Dallas career, stopping 69 of the 74 shots (.932 SV%) he has faced in two and a half games. Tonight he will take on a Colorado team that is off to a great start as well—however they come in on the tail-end of a back-to-back.
Thompson had no points, three shots, five hits and a minus-3 rating in his first four games and served as a healthy scratch on Tuesday. The 6-foot-5, 186 lbs. winger will swap spots with Sam Blais and go to the AHL where he had one goal and one assist in 16 games last season.
Bishop stopped 23 of 25 shots in the Stars’ win over the Red Wings on Tuesday. Through one and a half starts with Dallas, Bishop has turned away 42 of 44 shots (.955 SV%) and tonight he will make his third start of the season in Nashville. The Predators come in at 1-2-0 while averaging 3.00 goals for per game so far.
Bishop stopped all 19 shots that he faced before being pulled from the Stars season opener with a concussion. Kari Lehtonen started the following night, but Bishop is ready to get back in the crease tonight vs. the Red Wings. His Stars debut was strong and he has been great against Detroit during his career with the Lightning.
Prior to the 2016-17 season, Bishop was one of the best fantasy goalies around. He was tied for the league-lead in wins (112), tied for fifth in SV% (.922) and sixth in GAA (2.20) in the three previous seasons. The wheels fell off in Tampa Bay last year due to injuries to stars like Steven Stamkos, but now Bishop finds himself behind another high-powered offence and in a goalie-friendly system under new head coach Ken Hitchcock. He’s a must-start in the Vegas Golden Knights inaugural game.
