Kadri (maintenance) will play on Friday in Winnipeg after missing practice on Thursday.

Kadri played 22:46 time-on-ice in yesterday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Montreal Canadiens, his second-highest total of the season. He was absent from practice on Thursday for maintenance but will not miss any time, remaining in the lineup for Friday's game against the Winnipeg Jets. The 35-year-old Kadri has four points (0G / 4A) in eight games this season.

Miromanov has cleared waivers and been reassigned to the Calgary Wranglers (AHL).

With the integration of Zayne Parekh as a regular on the Flames blueline, Miromanov surfaced on waivers yesterday and will report to the Calgary Wranglers (AHL). The 28-year-old Miromanov played a career-high 44 games with the Flames last season, recording nine points (2G / 7A), 55 blocks, and 19 hits.

The Flames are off to a very disappointing 1-5-0 start to the 2025-26 season and will be test on Monday, hoping Wolf can shut the door against the Winnipeg Jets. Wolf was the runner-up for the Calder trophy last season but has struggled early this season. The 24-year-old goalie has an ugly 4.30 GAA and .854 SV% in five games this season (1-4-0). The Flames enter Monday's contest as +128 home underdogs against a Jets team riding a four-game winning streak.

Gridin has been assigned to the Calgary Wranglers (AHL) in a move to help accommodate activating Jonathan Huberdeau (undisclosed) off of Injured Reserve. The 19-year-old Gridin made his NHL debut last week and has recorded one goal in four games with the Flames this season.

Huberdeau has not played Calgary's first five games due to an undisclosed injury, but he has been activated from Injured Reserve and is expected to draw into the lineup on Saturday against the Vegas Golden Knights. He is expected to suit up on a line with Nazem Kadri and Joel Farabee. The 32-year-old Huberdeau averaged 19:33 time-on-ice and had 62 points (28G / 34A) in 81 games last season, his most productive campaign with the Flames.
