Hanley has been a healthy scratch for the Stars' previous two games but will draw back into the lineup for Nils Lundkvist Thursday. The 31-year-old has yet to pick up a point through 16 games this season but has nine SOG and 15 PIMs to go along with his +4 plus/minus.

Bahl has a goal, three assists, 14 SOG, 19 PIMs and a +1 plus/minus through 27 games played this season but will be a healthy scratch Thursday vs. Washington. Brendan Smith's return to the lineup after being a healthy scratch for six-games is the reason Bahl heads to the press box.

Cicek has split his season between the NHL and AHL, totalling four assists in 16 games with the Sharks. With Radim Simek out due to an undisclosed injury, Cicek could suit up Monday vs. the Jets.


Hunt will join his fourth team of the season. The Maple Leafs acquired Hunt from the Avalanche on December 19 in exchange for Denis Malgin. He started the season with the Rangers and played three games for them before being claimed off waivers by Colorado. In total, Hunt has three goals and zero assists in 37 games this season.

Okhotyuk was a second-round pick in 2019 and has split his 2023 season between the AHL and NHL. During his time with the Devils, the 22-year-old has scored one goal in 10 games. Okhotyuk will likely report to the AHL following the trade.


Kirkland had failed to pick up a point across seven games played and was a -3 plus/minus with five SOG and has now been loaned to the San Diego Gulls (AHL). He returns to the minors, where he had six goals, seven assists, and 12 PIMs through 19 games prior to his previous promotion.

Hanley has been a healthy scratch for the last seven games but will dress as the No.7 defenseman, but is expected to bounce between forward and defence. Hanley will replace Frederik Karlstrom, who was sent back to Texas (AHL) on Tuesday.

Cicek has four assists, 15 PIMs, and a -7 plus/minus through 16 games with San Jose but has been reassigned to the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) Tuesday. The 22-year-old heads back to the Barracuda where had an assist, 20 PIMs and a -11 plus/minus through 21 games.

The 22-year-old has four assists, 15 PIMs, and a -7 plus/minus through 15 games in his previous call up with the Sharks.




Andersson was injured after being hit while on a scooter in Detroit last week but will now be a game-time decision Thursday as Calgary takes on Detroit. The 26-year-old has been enjoying a very good season, with seven goals, 27 assists, 111 SOG, 18 PIMs and a +6 plus/minus through 51 games prior to his injury.

Cicek had four assists, 15 PIMs and a -7 plus/minus through 14 games but will head back to the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) Wednesday. He heads back to the Barracuda, where he had one assist and 20 PIMs across 20 games played prior to his promotion.

Andersson was riding a scooter to dinner on Wednesday when he was struck by a car in Detroit. He was taken to a local hospital for a full battery of tests before being released last night. The Flames say that Andersson will remain with the team and is listed as day-to-day.
