The Flames have acquired Yegor Sharangovich and a 2023 third-round pick from the Devils for Tyler Toffoli.

Sharangovich is a pending RFA that had just 30 points (13G / 17A) in 75 games in 2023. Sharangovich saw his minutes drop by over two minutes per game. The 25-year-old will likely play in a bottom-6 role, potentially on a line with Mikael Backlund in 2024.

Dustin Wolf will make his NHL debut when he starts Wednesday vs. San Jose.

Wolf was 41-9-2 with a .932 SV% and 2.08 GAA with the Calgary Wranglers (AHL) and was recalled to make his NHL debut Wednesday vs. San Jose. The 21-year-old was Calgary's 2019 seventh-round pick (214 overall) and will take on the San Jose Sharks, who are in the midst of a four-game losing streak and are 25th in the NHL in goals per game (2.88).

Prosvetov will start Monday vs. the Kraken.

Prosvetov stopped 25 of 29 shots (.862 SV%) to snap a two-game losing streak as he beat the Anaheim Ducks in his previous start. The 24-year-old has struggled during his small sample size of games this season, with his .878 SV%, 3.98 GAA and 4-2-0 record. He will take on the Seattle Kraken, who is in the midst of a four-game winning streak and are fourth in the HL in goals per game (3.58).
