Andersen allowed one goal on 24 shots in Thursday’s win over the Canadiens last Thursday. He was given Friday night off, but will be back in goal tonight vs. the Sharks. In his first two starts vs. San Jose, Andersen is 0-2-0 with a 6.27 GAA and .839 SV%.

Gardiner served as a healthy scratch on Saturday, but will replace Stephane Robidas tonight vs. Chicago. Gardiner has not recorded a point in six games and is a minus-2 rating over that stretch. He has eight points (2G / 6A) in 30 games this season.

Gardiner is on the ice for warmups, but he is skating as an extra, which suggests that Gardiner will be out and Korbinian Holzer will be in.

Over the span of 17 straight starts, Andersen has gone 10-3-4 with a 2.86 GAA and .899 SV%. If he starts tonight, he comes in with a 8-1-2 road record.

Andersen turned aside 21 of 22 shots in the Ducks win over the Oilers on Wednesday. He has recorded the W in five straight starts and should be able to make it six in a row tonight in Edmonton. The Oilers are struggling mightily and the Ducks are playing well, get him in your lineup.

Martinook, 22, had no points and a plus-1 rating in two games during his recall. It was good experience for the 2012 second round pick (58th overall) who heads back to the AHL where he has 13 points (4G / 9A) in 21 games.

Andersen allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Ducks win over Winnipeg on Sunday. He has won his last four start despite allowing 13 goals. His numbers are not great but he continues to rack up wins thanks to a high powered Ducks offence. He is a must-start tonight against the Oilers on the tail-end of a back-to-back.

Staal, who has been skating by himself lately, will join the team tomorrow for the first time this season. He remains without a timetable for when he will return to full practice, but this is another step in the right direction for Staal.

Andersen allowed four goals on 25 shots n the Ducks win over the Wild on Friday. It was the second straight game that Andersen has given up four and come away with the win. At this point, the Ducks are winning in spite of Andersen not because of him. He has been victorious in six of eight, despite posting a 3.16 GAA and .900 SV%.

Martinook, 22, was the Coyotes second round pick (58th overall) in 2012. The former Vancouver Giants’ forward has four goals and nine assists (13 points) in 21 games in his third full season with Portland. He is expected to make his NHL debut tonight on a line with Joe Vitale and B.J Crombeen.

Staal had surgery on his fractured fibula in late September. Staal is not expected to be back until later this month at the earliest, most likely early January.

He has posted a 3.04 GAA and .907 SV% over the last seven games, but has managed to win five of them thanks to the Ducks near three goals per game in the wins. Tonight he faces the Wild for the second time, he made 27 saves in a 2-1 win back in October.

Andersen stopped 32 of 34 shots in the Ducks’ 3-2 win over the Bruins on Monday. With John Gibson still on IR and Jason LaBarbera out for 2-3 weeks, the job is all Andersen’s. Over the last two weeks, Andersen has won four of six with a 2.91 GAA and .911 SV%. Tonight he makes for a great start against a struggling Flyers squad.

Andersen was pulled after giving up five goals on 19 shots in a 6-4 loss to San Jose on Saturday. Despite the bad outing, his backup Jason LaBarbera got injured, so Andersen gets a chance to bounce-back right away. After a 7-1-0 month of October, Andersen was 3-3-4 with a 3.00 GAA and .895 SV% in 11 starts in November.

Andersen allowed three goals on 37 shots in the Ducks loss to the Hawks last night. With John Gibson still out, Andersen will get back-to-back starts. Andersen is 3-2-4 with a 2.61 GAA and .906 SV% in November.
