Martinook has been out since December 2nd but is expected to play this afternoon vs. the Canucks. Martinook is expected to skate on the fourth line with Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Nino Niederreiter.

Kase was one of three players added to the COVID-19 protocol list and will not be available on Saturday. Mitch Marner (COVID-19 protocol) is expected to be back in the lineup to replace Kase.

With Jake Allen getting hurt on Wednesday, Primeau returns to the NHL where he will likely serve as Samuel Montembeault's backup on Thursday. Primeau has gone 8-6-1 with a 2.77 GAA and .912 SV% in 16 AHL games this season.

Stastny will miss Thursday's game in Detroit, leaving the Jets top line without Stastny and Nikolaj Ehlers. Expect Cole Perfetti and Evgeny Svechnikov to move up into the top-6.

The Jets only have one game this week, so Ehlers will likely only miss a single game after being added to the COVID-19 protocol list on Monday.

It's unclear what is ailing Stastny but he was not on the ice for Thursday's morning skate and will be a game-time decision in Colorado.

Kase suffered an undisclosed injury early in the week and will not be available for tonight's game vs. Edmonton. This is a tough break for Kase, who is riding a six-game point streak, posting three goals and five assists (eight points) over that stretch. Pierre Engvall will skate on the third line with Kase out.

Slavin, who has one assist in 10 games with the Blackhawks this season, will be replaced by Mackenzie Entwistle on the active roster.

Robinson will draw back onto the Blue Jackets' fourth line, replacing Justin Danforth who is expected to miss six weeks with an MCL sprain.

Primeau was scheduled to start Thursday in Carolina but likely won't be available now. Expect Samuel Montembeault to start every game until Jake Allen is back.

Jankowski and Dylan Cozens were placed on the COVID-19 protocol list on Sunday, joining Zemgus Girgensons, Jeff Skinner and Vinnie Hinostroza, who were on the list prior to the Christmas break. Jankowski and Cozens will likely be out until the middle of next week--the other three are eligible to come off earlier.
