Svechnikov (concussion) will be a game-time decision for Game 1.
Svechnikov’s status remains up in the air as the Hurricanes head into Game 1 of round two against the Islanders. Svechnikov is listed as a game-time decision and would likely replace Patrick Brown or Saku Maenalanen and skate on the second line with Jordan Staal and Justin Williams if he ends up playing.
Svechnikov (concussion protocol) is questionable for Game 7 in Washington.
Svechnikov has been in concussion protocol since being knocked out by Alex Ovechkin in Game 3. Head coach Rod Brind’Amour did not have much of an update on Svechnikov’s status ahead of Game 7, but it seems like there’s a chance that he plays.
Ehlers (lower-body) will be a game-time decision for Game 6.
Ehlers was banged up late in Game 5 and is questionable for Game 6 in St. Louis. Par Lindholm is expected to dress and replace Ehlers if he is unable to play in a must-win game for Winnipeg.

Martinook left Game 4 on Thursday with a lower-body injury and is questionable to play in Game 5. Aleksi Saarela was recalled from Charlotte (AHL) and will replace Martinook if he can’t play.

Svechnikov did some light stick-handling this morning but will miss Game 4 as he remains in concussion-protocol after being knocked out by Alex Ovechkin in Game 3. Saku Maenalanen will replace Svechnikov in the lineup on Thursday.

Svechnikov is in concussion protocol and it is highly unlikely that he will be available for Game 4 vs. the Capitals. Saku Maenalanen will likely replace Svechnikov in the lineup on Wednesday.

Robinson will draw into the Blue Jackets lineup on Thursday.
Fast will be scratched Tuesday vs. the Red Wings.
Dzingel (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Reilly was a minus-1 in 18:03 TOI in last Friday’s blowout loss in Anaheim and will be replaced by Brett Kulak tonight vs. the Red Wings.
Robinson will draw into the Blue Jackets lineup on Monday.
Robinson has been a healthy scratch for the last four games but will replace Boone Jenner (illness) on Monday. Robinson, who had 12 goals and 12 assists in 45 AHL games when he was called up, is still searching for his first career NHL point.
Kotkaniemi will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday.
Kotkaniemi has had an excellent rookie season but serve as a healthy scratch for the first time in his career. Kotkaniemi has just one goal and four assists (five points) in his last 11 games.
Hall underwent successful arthroscopic knee surgery earlier this week. His status for the remainder of the season is unknown at this time.

Reilly will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday.
The Blue Jackets have acquired Ryan Dzingel and a 2019 seventh-round pick from the Senators for Anthony Duclair, a 2020 second-round pick and a 2021 second-round pick.
Dzingel has enjoyed a breakout season, scoring 22 goals and 22 assists (44 points) in 57 games. Dzingel brings a ton of speed to the Blue Jackets lineup and could lineup with Matt Duchene, who was also acquired from Ottawa on Friday. Dzingel has played 52.5 percent of his 5v5 minutes with Duchene this season and the duo has averaged 27 ScoringChancesFor/60.
The Hurricanes have activated Jordan Staal from IR.
Staal has been out with a concussion since December 22nd but is set to return to the lineup on Saturday. Activating him from IR all but guarantees that he will play for the first time in the 2019 calendar year.
