Soderblom will likely start on Thursday and hope to rebound after allowing four goals on 27 shots (.852 SV%) in a 4-2 loss to the Washington Capitals in his last start. Toninanto had two goals, four assists, two PIMs and a -1 plus/minus in nine games with Manitoba (AHL) and has earned his first call up of the season to Winnipeg Wednesday. The 29-year-old is entering his seventh NHL season and is expected to replace Kyle Connor (knee) in the Jets' lineup after he was placed on the Injured Reserve earlier Wednesday.

Brossoit was excellent in his last start just over a week ago, saving 42 of 43 shots (.977 SV%) in a 2-1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes and will likely return to the crease on Tuesday. Brossoit has had an up-and-down season, posting a 2.65 GAA and .903 SV% through six games (3-2-1), but will have a favourable matchup as the Jets are -200 road favourites against a San Jose Sharks team that scored five or more goals in four straight games (2-1-1).

Reese Johnson will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday as Donato is ready to return from an illness. Donato did not play the last two games and has zero points in his last five games while firing seven shots on goal.

However, after just one game, he will be on the shelf again on a week-to-week timeline with an unrelated upper-body injury, a tough blow for Burakovsky and the Kraken. Burakovsky has not played since October 21st, missing 20 games with an upper-body injury, but is expected to make his long-awaited return to the lineup on Thursday against the New Jersey Devils. Crevier was a healthy scratch for the Blackhawks' previous game but will draw back into the lineup Thursday vs. Anaheim as he replaces Jarred Tinordi (concussion). The 22-year-old towering defence man (6'8") will make only his second career NHL appearance Thursday and is expected to be on Chicago's third pairing alongside Nikita Zaitsev.

Burakovsky last played on October 21st and was projected to miss 6-8 week with an upper-body injury and is "very close" to returning according to Seattle's head coach Dave Hakstol. The 28-year-old got off to a slow start prior to his injury, with no goals, two assists, 14 SOG, and a -2 plus/minus in six games.

Crevier played 15:59 in his NHL debut on Sunday and was held without a point, but had one shot on goal, one block, and two hits. Crevier was recalled last week from the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL, where he has five points (0G / 5A) in 16 games.
