Foligno has missed the last two games with an upper-body injury but is expected to play in Ottawa on Wednesday. Foligno was originally listed as a game-time decision on Tuesday but reportedly responded well after yesterday's practice. He skated with John Tavares and William Nylander in practice but has played primarily with Auston Matthew and Mitch Marner to this point, so it's unclear who he will skate with tonight.

Toninato has appeared in 85 career NHL games with the Avalanche and Panthers, scoring five goals with nine assists. Toninato has only played in three games this season, scoring three goals with the Manitoba Moose (AHL). Toninato will replace Jansen Harkins and skate on the fourth line.

Grzelcyk is one of 16 regulars who will not be in the Bruins lineup on Tuesday. The Bruins will need to recall multiple players from their taxi squad/AHL to fill out their lineup. Jakub Zboril, who was a healthy scratch last night, should draw in to replace Grzelcyk.

Bertuzzi missed almost all of 2021 with a back injury and the decision was made for him to get back surgery in late April. Luckily for the Red Wings, Bertuzzi is expected to be available for the start of next season.

Foligno was hurt midway through Monday's game in Montreal and will not play Thursday and will likely miss Saturday's game as well. With Foligno out, Joe Thornton moved up to the top line in Wednesday's practice.

Weber was a surprise scratch on Friday and is expected to miss his second straight game on Saturday. Erik Gustafsson replaced him last night but it looks like Brett Kulak will replace him on Saturday.

The Maple Leafs will rest a couple of players on Thursday, Nick Foligno being one of them. Pierre Engvall will re-enter the lineup to replace Foligno.

Mikheyev has missed the last two games but will be a game-time decision for the second straight contest. Mikheyev will skate on a line with Alexander Kerfoot and Wayne Simmonds if he does play.

Mikheyev was scratched Tuesday in Vancouver but could return to the lineup on Thursday. Mikheyev skated on the third line in the morning skate and comes in with one goal and three assists in his last six games.

Foligno was acquired from the Blue Jackets at the trade deadline and will suit up Thursday in Winnipeg. Foligno is not the same offensive presence he was in 2015 but could pack a bit of a punch on Thursday, as he debuts on the top line with Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner.
