The Avalanche have assigned Dominic Toninato to San Antonio (AHL).
Toninato, 23, recorded one assist in eight games with the Avalanche during his call-up. Toninato returns to the AHL with Colin Wilson back to 100 percent—he has three goals and three assists (six points) in 13 games with the Rampage.
Weber (lower-body) is on the ice for warmups; expected to play vs. Detroit.
Weber (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Saturday.
Weber has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury, but took part in today’s morning skate and it looks like he will play tonight vs. the Red Wings. Weber skated with Jordie Benn this morning and will likely take his spot back on the top power play unit as well. Monitor his status during pre-game warmups, but it looks like the hulking defenseman will play tonight. He has 13 points (4G / 9A) in 20 games this season.

Toninato was a fifth round pick in 2012 and has registered three goals and three assists in 13 games in his first pro year with the Rampage. The 23-year-old will centre a line with Nail Yakupov and Sven Andrighetto on his wings.
Weber (lower-body) will likely return to the Canadiens lineup on Saturday.
Weber (lower-body) skated on Friday; not 100% certain he will play on Saturday.
Weber was a late scratch on Thursday but was back on the ice this morning and could be back on Saturday. Weber remains a question mark, but at least it doesn’t appear to be a serious injury.
Teravainen (upper-body) will be a game-time decision on Sunday.
