Ellis has missed the last two games with an upper-body injury, but he practiced on Monday and skated in the Predators’ optional morning skate. Monitor Ellis’ status during the pre-game warmups and expect Stefan Elliott to be scratched if he can play.

Ellis left Tuesday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not skate this morning, so do not expect to see him suit up tonight. The Predators have recalled Stefan Elliott from Milwaukee (AHL) to take Ellis’ spot in the lineup.


Teravainen missed Tuesday’s morning skate with an illness, but he was on the ice for Wednesday’s morning skate and will be in the lineup vs. the Flyers. The Blackhawks will shake up their lines tonight and Teravainen is expected to skate with Andrew Ladd and Andrew Shaw. He has 11 goals and 19 assists (30 points) in 66 games this season.

Pouliot, 22, will make his season debut this afternoon vs. Vancouver. Pouliot has six goals and 17 assists (23 points) in 37 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. He has seven points (2G / 5A) in 34 career NHL games.

Pouliot was recalled this morning and was going to be in the lineup if Kris Letang was unavailable. Pouliot will be a healthy scratch, but should stay with the team with David Warsofsky out with a concussion.




Teravainen has missed the last three games with an upper-body injury, but it looks like he could return tonight in Anaheim. Teravainen has nine points (4G / 5A) in 18 games this season.



Ellis took part in the Predators’ morning skate but he wasn’t sure if he would play tonight vs. the Ducks. If Ellis doesn’t end up playing, look for Victor Bartley to stay in the lineup.

Ellis missed Tuesday’s game vs. Tampa Bay, but he was back at practice this afternoon and was skating with his usual partner Mattias Ekholm, which suggests that he could be back in the lineup on Thursday vs. Anaheim.

Ellis suffered a knee injury while blocking a shot on the weekend and he missed both Monday’s practice and Tuesday’s morning skate. Look for Viktor Bartley to take Ellis’ spot in the lineup on Tuesday vs. Tampa Bay.
