Johnson suffered a lower-body injury in Monday’s win over the Kings. The injury is not serious but will keep him out of the lineup for at least five days. To provide the team with some blueline depth, the Avalanche claimed Andrew Bodnarchuk off of waivers from Columbus on Tuesday.
Nichushkin was scratched from last night’s game because of a lower-body injury, but will get back in the lineup tonight. There was no indication on who would come out to make room for Nichushkin, but we will find out in warmups. Nichushkin has just 13 points (4G / 9A) this season and hasn’t registered a point since December 15th.
Drouin has missed the last eight games with a lower-body injury, but has been taken off of IR, which suggests that he may return to the lineup on Wednesday vs. the Rangers. If he can’t go tomorrow, look for him on Saturday vs. the Wild.
Parise has been dealing with a nagging lower-body injury, but will play on Monday vs. the Red Wings. Parise has been held pointless with a minus-4 rating in his last three games.
Landeskog was scratched in Wednesday's game against the Penguins. Landeskog was expected to play but did not come out for warmups and ended up being scratched with Mikhail Grigorenko returning to the lineup. Consider Landeskog as day-to-day until the Avalanche release more information.
