Manson (upper-body) has been placed on IR retroactive to November 29th.

Manson exited Friday's 5-3 loss to the Dallas Stars after playing only 7:13 time-on-ice and will be out of action until, at earliest, December 7th against the Detroit Red Wings. The 33-year-old Manson is averaging 17:52 time-on-ice and has six points (1G / 5A) in 24 games this season.

Beckman will draw into the Devils' lineup on Monday.

Beckman will make his Devils debut when New Jersey travels to New York to take on the Rangers on Monday. The 23-year-old was the 75th overall pick of the Minnesota Wild in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft and had two points (0G / 2A) in 11 games with Minnesota last season.

Middleton has been recalled from the Colorado Eagles (AHL).

Middleton was the fourth-round pick, 101st overall, of the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. He has been a product of the Avalanche since the 2020-21 season and played three NHL games in that campaign, his only exposure to the NHL in his career. He has four points (0G / 4A) in 17 games with the Colorado Eagles (AHL).

Blackwood will start vs. Ottawa on Wednesday.

With Yaroslav Askarov sent down to the San Jose Barracuda (AHL), the Sharks crease return to Blackwood. The 27-year-old Blackwood is having a fine season between the pipes for a defensively-prone Sharks club, posting a 3.07 GAA and .907 SV% in 14 games (4-7-3). That said, the Sharks enter Wednesday's contest as +181 home underdogs against an Ottawa Senators squad that snapped a five-game losing skid in their previous game, a 4-3 victory over the Calgary Flames.

L'Heureux (upper-body) left Monday's game vs. New Jersey and did not return.

L'Heureux was on the receiving end of an illegal cross-check from Timo Meier and exited the game late in the third period. Meier was given a five-minute major penalty and a game misconduct. An update on L'Heureux should be provided ahead of the Predators' next game on Wednesday against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Svechkov will make his NHL debut on Saturday.

Svechkov was recalled from the AHL on Saturday morning and he'll replace Juuso Parssinen in the lineup vs. the Jets. It's unclear where Svechkov will slot into the lineup but he's expected to provide some offence after posting eight points (5G / 3A) in his first seven AHL games this season.

The Predators have recalled Fedor Svechkov from Milwaukee (AHL).

Svechkov was a first-round pick (No.19 overall) in 2021 and could make his NHL debut on Saturday. The 21-year-old forward is currently over a point-per-game with Milwaukee, scoring five goals with three assists (eight points) in seven games. Adam Wilsby was sent to the AHL to make room on the roster.

Merkulov has been reassigned to Providence (AHL).

After a short three-game showing which saw him grab one assist and average 13:44 TOI, Georgii Merkulov has been reassinged to Providence (AHL) in exchange for Marc McLaughlin. Georgii returns to Providence where he excelled early in the season prior to his call-up, with two goals and 11 points in 12 games played.

Despite the Sharks recalling high-pedigree prospect Yaroslav Askarov from the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) on Monday, the Sharks will turn to Blackwood between the pipes for a second straight game. The 27-year-old Blackwood has been stellar between the pipes lately, posting a .929 SV% in his previous six outings (3-2-1). The Sharks enter the action on Wednesday as significant +393 road underdogs against the Stars but nearly defeated them in their meeting on October 15th when Blackwood saved 36 of 38 shots (.947 SV%) in a 3-2 shootout loss.

The Sharks enter the action as +125 home underdogs against a Red Wings club outscored 10-5 in their previous two contests (0-2-0).
