Makar has 17 goals, 49 assists, 176 SOG, 30 PIMs and a +16 plus/minus through 60 games this season but will miss his second straight game Thursday vs. San Jose. The Avalanche will be going with the same lineup they had in their victory over San Jose on Tuesday.

Gushchin had a goal and two points in two games with the San Jose Sharks and will now head back to the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) Wednesday. The 21-year-old returns to the minors, where he had 17 goals, 20 assists, 24 PIMs and a -18 plus/minus through 62 games this season.



Makar has 17 goals, 49 assists, 176 SOG, 30 PIMs and a +16 plus/minus through 60 games this season but will be a game-time decision as Colorado takes on San Jose Tuesday. It is unclear the reason why Makar is out but head coach Jarred Bednar did mention "a couple of guys will be out tonight".

Gushchin had 17 goals, 20 assists, 24 PIMs and a -18 plus/minus through 62 games with the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) and has been recalled to the Sharks on Tuesday with expectations to jump immediately into the lineup. The 21-year-old has a goal in one game played previously this season with the Sharks.

Attard had 11 goals, 19 assists, 35 PIMs and a +9 plus/minus through 64 games played with the Lehigh-Valley Phantoms (AHL) and will make his season debut with the Flyers Tuesday vs. St. Louis. The 24-year-old has previously played in 15 NHL games, picking up two goals and four points.

Kiviranta has seven goals, eight points, 80 SOG, 34 PIMs and a -10 plus/minus through 65 games this season but will be a healthy scratch Monday vs. Nashville. The 27-year-old will be replaced by Frederik Olofsson in the Stars' lineup Monday.

Wedgewood last started on February 18th due to a lower-body injury and allowed three goals on 36 shots (.917 SV%) for a loss to Columbus in that start. The 30-year-old Stars' backup has been incredibly solid when called upon, with his 7-8-3 record, .913 SV% and 2.92 GAA. He is expected to take on the Nashville Predators, who have won two of their last three games and are 27th in the NHL in goals per game (2.76).

Polin led the entire NCAA with 30 goals through 39 games this season with Western Michigan University (NCAA) and signed a one-year entry-level contract with the Colorado Avalanche Wednesday. The 23-year-old finished his final collegiate season with 30 goals, 47 points, 13 PIMs and a +26 plus/minus through 39 games this season.



MacDonald left the Sharks' previous game after just 1:55 TOI due to an upper-body injury and will be a game-time decision to play Saturday vs. Calgary. The 30-year-old has a goal, four assists, 54 SOG, 17 PIMs and a -11 plus/minus through 48 games between San Jose and Colorado.
