Helm's injury is related to the lower-body injury that forced him to miss the first 35 games of the season. With Helm out indefinitely, look for the Avalanche to recall a forward from Colorado (AHL).



Wagner played 12:36 TOI and failed to pick up a point in his one-game showing with the Bruins but will head back to Providence (AHL) Wednesday. The 31-year-old veteran will head back to Providence, where he had nine goals, 11 points, 37 PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through 27 games prior to his call-up.

Francouz is 4-5-0 with a 2.80 GAA and .913 SV% but has missed the Avalanche's last five games as he dealt with a lower-body injury. Francouz will backup Alexandar Georgiev if he does dress Tuesday.

Rydahl has four goals, nine points, 24 PIMs and a +2 plus/minus through 24 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL). He did not make his NHL debut during his call-up and will be hoping for another shot to do so later in the year.

Blackwood took a puck to the hand during morning practice and will be held out of the lineup for precautionary measures Thursday. The 26-year-old has been having a year to forget prior to yet another injury, with his 5-3-1 record, 3.05 GAA and .888 SV%.

Rydahl has four goals, nine points, 24 PIMs and a +2 plus/minus through 24 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL). He will make his NHL debut Thursday vs. Montreal as he replaces Jonny Brodzinski.

He will face the struggliing Anaheim Ducks, who have lost five of their last six games after a 4-1 loss to Philadelphia last game.

Vesey had signed a one-year contract after a successful PTO to start 2022-23 but has now signed a two-year, $800,000 AAV extension with the Rangers. The 29-year-old earned the extension after putting up six goals, six assists, 62 SOG and a +4 plus/minus through 38 games this season.

The move doesn't affect Francouz's status much but opens up a roster spot to recall a forward with Evan Rodrigues missing Monday's game with an upper-body injury. Francouz is still expected to be sidelined on a week-to-week basis.

Helm has yet to play in 2022-23 due to an off-season abductor injury and will make his season debut Monday vs. the Golden Knights. He will be looking to add to the 266 career points (119G/147A) he has picked up through 812 games played.
