Lindgren missed Game 3 with a lower-body injury but will be a game-time decision for Game 4 in Pittsburgh. The Rangers may go with 11 forwards and seven defensemen if Lindgren is available.


Wagner served as a healthy scratch for the first two games of the series but will replace Trent Frederic in the lineup for Game 3. Wagner only appeared in one NHL regular-season game this season.

Lindgren left Game 1 briefly before finishing the game with 28:44 TOI. He was scratched for Game 2 and his status for Game 3 in Pittsburgh is unclear. Justin Braun will remain in the lineup if Lindgren can't play.


Cogliano suffered an upper-body injury in Game 1 and will miss Game 2 vs. the Predators. Cogliano, who is listed as day-to-day, is expected to be replaced by Logan O'Connor but that was not confirmed by the Avalanche.

Lindgren left Game 1 but returned later and finished the game. Head coach Gerard Gallant said that he's "banged up" but will "probably" play in Game 2.







Lindgren scratched on Wednesday but was back on the ice for Friday's morning skate and is expected to play on Friday. Lindgren has not scored a goal since January 8th, posting just eight assists over 44 games.
