Helm was a healthy scratch vs. the Flames on Saturday but will replace Kurtis MacDermid in the lineup on Monday. Helm has played exclusively on the Avalanche fourth line this season and has just seven points (4G / 3A) in 43 games.



A bug appears to be going around the Devils room, Pavel Zacha missed their last game with a non-COVID illness and now it looks like Vesey may not be available on Sunday. He missed Saturday's practice, so monitor his status as the Devils hit the ice for warmups at 12:30 PM ET.

Nichushkin has missed the last two games with an upper-body injury but is set to play Saturday vs. the Flames. Nichushkin will most likely be back on a line with Nazem Kadri and comes into Saturday's game with 14 goals and 15 assists (29 points) in 37 games.


Nichushkin missed Tuesday's game vs. the Islanders and did not travel to Arizona for Thursday's game vs. the Coyotes. Alex Newhook will remain on the wing in the Avs' top-6 while Nichushkin is out.


Kiviranta missed the last two games with a lower-body injury but is set to play Wednesday vs. the Kings. Kiviranta, who has just one goal and three assists (four points) in 42 games this season, will skate on a line with Jacob Peterson and Alexander Radulov.


Cogliano missed the last two games due to personal reasons but will replace Jonah Gadjovich in the lineup on Tuesday. Coglaino has tallied 13 points (4G / 9A) in 47 games this season.




MacKinnon missed Wednesday's game in Detroit with a "minor" lower-body injury but will play Friday vs. the Jets. MacKinnon will be back on the top line and top power-play unit and comes in with 24 points (9G / 15A) in 19 games since the beginning of January.




According to head coach Jared Bednar, MacKinnon's lower-body injury is "minor," so he could be back for Friday's game vs. the Jets.
