The Rangers added Ryan Lindgren to the COVID-19 protocol list on Sunday (Dec.26).

With Lindgren entering protocol on Sunday and Jarred Tinordi entering on Monday, the Rangers are left with just six healthy defensemen as they get ready to start a three-game week. Based on protocol rules, expect Lindgren to miss at least four games.

Francouz was placed in COVID-19 protocol but is expected to be back on January 5th.

Francouz was moved to COVID-19 protocol on Sunday and is expected to be sidelined until the middle of next week. With Jonas Johansson now in Florida, Justus Annunen or Hunter Miska will likely come up to serve as Darcy Kuemper's backup.

O'Connor was placed in COVID-19 protocol but is expected to be back on December 30th.

O'Connor was placed in COVID-19 protocol on December 20th but the team did not announce it until Sunday. The Avalanche provided expected return dates for all of the players still in protocol and put O'Connor on track to miss Wednesday's game vs. the Stars but be back for Friday's rematch.

The Bruins added Charlie Coyle to the COVID-19 protocol list on Sunday.

Sunday was a mostly good day for the Bruins, activating Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, Taylor Hall, Craig Smith, Jeremy Swayman, Trent Frederic, Curtis Lazar and Anton Blidh from protocol but added Coyle--who joins Brandon Carlo and Oskar Steen, who remain on the list. Coyle will likely be out until at least the middle of next week.
