Francouz will start Wednesday vs. the Flyers.

Francouz allowed five goals on 33 shots in Colorado's overtime loss to the Flames on Monday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Francouz, who will start again Wednesday with Philipp Grubauer still sidelined with a hamstring injury. The 29-year-old netminder is 3-1-1 with a 2.99 GAA and .901 SV% on home ice and gets the nod vs. a Flyers team without two of their top-6 wingers.

The Flames have recalled Matthew Phillips from Stockton (AHL).

Phillips was a sixth-round pick (No.166 overall) in 2016 and could make his NHL debut on Tuesday. The 21-year-old leads Stockton with 25 points (9G / 16A) in 22 games this season. Matthew Tkachuk was banged up last night and Phillips could end replacing him if he can't play on Tuesday.

He's a terrible option in Dallas, where the Stars have won nine of their last 10 (9-1-0) while scoring 3.80 goals per game.

Makar is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Makar was forced to leave Saturday's game in Boston after taking a hard hit from Brad Marchand. Makar was not on the ice for Monday's morning skate and will not play vs. the Flames. Head coach Jared Bednar called him "day-to-day" but said there's a chance that he will play this week. With Makar out, Samuel Girard will be on Colorado's top power-play unit.

Landeskog (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.

Landeskog has been sidelined by a lower-body injury since October 26th but all signs are pointing towards him playing Thursday in Montreal. Landeskog, who had three goals and four assists in 11 games before getting hurt, will likely be back on the top-line with Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen.
