Columbus has signed Isac Lundestrom to a two-year contract worth $1.3 million AAV ($2.6M total).
Lundestrom was a first-round pick of the Anaheim Ducks in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. The 25-year-old forward spent the first seven seasons of his NHL career with the Anaheim Ducks and will have a change of scenery in 2025-26, joining the Columbus Blue Jackets on a two-year contract worth $1.3 million. He has 84 points (35G / 49A) in 337 career games.
Columbus has signed Christian Jaros to a one-year, two-way contract.
Jaros has played 94 career NHL games but spent the previous four seasons playing in Europe in the KHL. The 29-year-old defenseman was a fifth-round pick of the Ottawa Senators in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft and returns to North America on a two-way, one-year deal with the Blue Jackets.
Columbus has signed Owen Sillinger to a one-year, two-way contract extension.
The Canucks have signed Conor Garland to a six-year extension worth $6.0M AAV ($36.0M total).
Garland has been the definition of consistency since joining the Canucks in 2021-22, finishing each of his four seasons with the team between the 46 to 52 points. The 29-year-old forward finished tied for second on the team with 50 points (19G / 31A) in 81 games last season.

The Blue Jackets have signed Ivan Provorov to a seven-year extension worth $8.5M AAV ($59.5M total).
With the selection of free-agent defensemen dwindling, the Blue Jackets acted quickly and signed Provorov to a massive seven-year extension worth $8.5 million AAV. The 28-year-old Provorov was excellent in 2024-25, his second season with the Blue Jackets, averaging 23:21 of time on ice, scoring 33 points (7G, 26A) in 82 games. He ranked in the top 30 amongst all defensemen last season with 30 even-strength points.

July 1st free agency will be without one of its bigger defensive targets after Columbus signed Dante Fabbro to a four-year, $16.5 million contract extension on Sunday. The 27-year-old first came to Columbus off waivers in November of 2024 and excelled almost immediately, putting up nine goals, 26 points and a +23 plus/minus in 62 games played while averaging 21:39 TOI.

The Blue Jackets have acquired Miles Wood and Charlie Coyle from the Avalanche for Gavin Brindley, a 2025 3rd Round, and a 2027 2nd Round Pick.
Wood's contract certainly isn't the best, as he has four more years at $2.5M AAV, but he's a physical bottom-6 winger that will help Columbus replace some of the wingers they let walk in free agency. Most recently, Wood missed 45 games in 2024-25, finishing the season with just four goals and four assists in 37 games.
The Blue Jackets have acquired Charlie Coyle and Miles Wood from the Avalanche for Gavin Brindley, a 2025 3rd Round, and a 2027 2nd Round Pick.
After six and a half years in Boston, Coyle was traded to the Avalanche at the deadline last year, and only scored two goals with 11 assists (13 points) in 19 games. WIth the Avalanche pressed up against the salary cap, a third-line centre making $5.25M was a luxury they could not afford. With Columbus, Coyle will settle in behind Sean Monahan and Adam Fantilli on the depth chart and could make Cole Sillinger expendable in a trade this summer.
Los Angeles has signed Pheonix Copley to a one-year, $775,000 contract extension.
Copley only appeared in one game for Los Angeles in 2024-25 but will provide some goaltending depth yet again after signing a one-year, $775,000 contract extension on Monday with the Kings. The 33-year-old Alaskan netminder appeared in 42 games with Ontario (AHL) in 2024-25, posting a 24-17-1 record with a .904 SV%.

Columbus has signed Oiva Keskinen to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Keskinen is Columbus' 2023 7th-round pick (194th overall) and has signed a three-year, entry-level contract on Friday. The 21-year-old center represented Finland at the 2025 World Jr Championships and spent the entire 2024-25 season with Tappara (Liiga), where he scored 15 goals and 35 points in 59 games played in Finland's top league.
Wood will draw into the Avalanche lineup for Game 2 in Dallas.
After much speculation that Gabriel Landeskog (knee) could draw in for Ross Colton (lower-body), it will in fact be Miles Wood that enters Colorado's lineup. Wood finished the regular season with four goals and four assists in 37 games.
Williams will make his NHL debut on Thursday.
Zach Aston-Reese will be a healthy scratch on Thursday, allowing Williams to make his NHL debut. Williams is an undrafted forward that has spent the previous three seasons playing collegiate hockey for Northeastern University (H-East). The 23-year-old Williams scored 41 points (16G / 25A) in 37 games with Northeastern this season.

Greaves will start Thursday vs. the Islanders.
The Blue Jackets were officially eliminated from the playoffs last night when the Montreal Canadiens defeated the Carolina Hurricanes. Still, they will roll with their red-hot goalie, Greaves, in their season finale on Thursday against the New York Islanders. The 24-year-old Greaves has been outstanding for the Blue Jackets lately, keeping them in playoff contention throughout April, posting an absurd 0.75 GAA and .976 SV% in four games (4-0-0). The Blue Jackets enter Thursday's contest as -142 home favorites against an Islanders team that has only scored twice in their last two games (1-1-0).
