Zach Werenski was placed on the injured reserve retroactive to 11/12.

This is a huge blow for the Blue Jackets, who also lost Nick Blankenburg long-term last week. Jake Bean replaced Werenski on the top power-play after he left the game and figures to be a key figure on their blueline moving forward. Werenski should make a full recovery and be back in time for next year's training camp.
