The Devils added Jon Gillies to the COVID-19 protocol list on Sunday (Dec.26).
Gillies and Tomas Tatar were added to the COVID-19 protocol list on Sunday while removing five players. Expect Gillies to be out until at least the middle of next week.
The Bruins added Charlie Coyle to the COVID-19 protocol list on Sunday.
Sunday was a mostly good day for the Bruins, activating Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, Taylor Hall, Craig Smith, Jeremy Swayman, Trent Frederic, Curtis Lazar and Anton Blidh from protocol but added Coyle--who joins Brandon Carlo and Oskar Steen, who remain on the list. Coyle will likely be out until at least the middle of next week.
Jenner was added to the COVID-19 protocol list on Sunday.
The Blue Jackets are in Buffalo on Monday and they'll be without Jenner, Jack Roslovic and Gabriel Carlsson, who entered protocol on Sunday.

Chinakhov was not in the lineup for the last five games but will replace Gregory Hofmann in the lineup on Thursday. Hofmann had been skating on the top line, so Chinakhov, who has four points (1G / 3A) in 18 games, could play in the top-6.

The Predators have recalled Mathieu Olivier from Milwaukee (AHL).
The Predators have had a COVID-19 outbreak, so Olivier is part of the reinforcements coming up from Milwaukee. Olivier has two goals and two assists in 14 AHL games this season.
The Devils have acquired Jon Gillies from the Blues for future considerations.
The Devils are worried about Jonathan Bernier's health, so they were looking for cheap goaltending help. Gillies showed he can handle the NHL in his season debut on Sunday, stopping 36 of 39 shots in a loss to the Ducks. The former third-round pick is 4-5-2 with a 2.72 GAA and .905 SV% in the NHL.
