Hintz has been sidelined by a lower-body injury since March 6th and is questionable to play at all during Round 1 of the playoffs. Head coach Glen Gulutzan said he might have an update on Monday, but he'll miss Game 1 on Saturday.

Heiskanen missed the final three games of the regular season with a lower-body injury, but was a full participant in Friday's practice and will play in Game 1 on Saturday. Heiskanen had another incredible season, posting nine goals and 54 assists (63 points) in 77 games.

Lundkvist is in his fourth season with the Stars and has three goals and eight assists (11 points) in 52 games this season. Lundkvist is coming off of a one-year, $1.25M deal, so he earns an extra year of security and a $500K raise per season.

Hintz was expected to return from a lower-body injury before the end of the regular season, but after suffering a setback, his return to action is unclear. Stars' Head Coach Glen Gulutzan suggested that he does not expect Hintz to play in the first two games of the season. Matt Duchene has been the main beneficiary during Hintz's absence and will likely continue to see an elevated role into the playoffs.

Lian Bichsel will re-enter the Stars' lineup on Wednesday, sending Petrovic back to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 34-year-old Petrovic has been the odd-man out of the lineup since Tyler Myers was acquired at the trade deadline, playing only three games in the last six weeks.

Nils Lundkvist will re-enter the Stars' lineup on Wednesday, sending Capobianco back to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 28-year-old Capobianco played in the Stars' previous game, for just his second contest in the last two months.

Alex Petrovic will be a healthy scratch on Wednesday, allowing Bichsel to re-enter the lineup. The 21-year-old Bichsel is averaging 15:34 time-on-ice and has eight points (4G / 4A) in 49 games this season.

Lundkvist has not played in over a week, but will re-enter the lineup for the Stars' season finale. The 25-year-old Swedish defenseman has 11 points (3G / 8A) in 51 games this season. Kyle Capobianco will be a healthy scratch to accommodate Lundkvist's return.

Blackwell has played a career-high 70 games this season, but he will be a healthy scratch in the Stars' final game of the season. The 32-year-old forward averaged 11:54 time-on-ice and scored 15 points (4G / 11A).

Arttu Hyry will be a healthy scratch on Wednesday, allowing Erne to re-enter the lineup. The 30-year-old Erne is averaging 9:56 time-on-ice and has eight points (6G / 2A) in 44 games this season.

Steel has not played in three weeks due to a lower-body injury, but he will suit up for the Stars' final game of the season on Wednesday. The 28-year-old Steel has a career-high 33 points (12G / 21A) in 72 games this season.

The Stars await their first-round matchup against the Minnesota Wild and will turn to Oettinger one final time in the regular season. The 27-year-old Oettinger saved all 22 shots he faced in his previous outing for his fourth shutout of the season and will look for another strong start to carry momentum into the playoffs. In four games this month (4-0-0), Oettinger has a 1.72 GAA, .926 SV%, and two shutouts. The Stars enter Wednesday's contest as -139 road favourites against a Sabres team that will likely be resting key players after locking up first-place in the Atlantic Division.

Lundkvist has been sidelined for a week due to an illness, but will return to the lineup for the final game of the regular season on Wednesday against the Buffalo Sabres. The 25-year-old Swedish defenseman has become a more reliable presence on the Dallas blueline this season, recording 11 points (3G / 8A) and a +12 plus/minus through 51 games with primarily playing alongside Thomas Harley.

With Kyle Capobianco returning to Dallas' lineup from injury on Monday, Lian Bischel is the odd man out and will be a healthy scratch vs. Toronto. The 21-year-old towering defensemen has appeared in 49 games with Dallas this season, picking up four goals, eight points and a +6 plus/minus.
