Marchment was not on the ice for Wednesday's morning skate and will be a game-time decision for Game 5 vs. the Capitals. Maxim Mamin skated in Marchment's spot on the third line and figures to replace him if he's not available.



DeSmith left Game 1 with an injury and underwent surgery on Friday morning that will end his season. With Tristan Jarry still battling an injury of his own, it's Louis Domingue's crease moving forward.


DeSmith left Game 1 after suffering a lower-body injury in overtime. Louis Domingue, who was perfect in relief in the 3OT win, will start Game 2 and Alex D'Orio was recalled from the AHL to serve as his backup.

DeSmith left Game 1 with a lower-body injury and did not return. Louis Domingue was excellent in relief, stopping all 17 shots that he faced in the 3OT win. Domingue is expected to start Game 2 with DeSmith listed as day-to-day.



Marchment missed the final three games of the regular season, presumably to nurse some bumps and bruises ahead of their first-round matchup with the Capitals. Marchment burst onto the scene in 2022, scoring 18 goals with 29 assists (47 points) in 54 games.


Dumba has been out since April 5th but will play Friday vs. the Avalanche. The Wild are going for home-ice advantage in the first-round, so getting Dumba back should provide a big boost to a Wild blueline that will also be getting Jared Spurgeon back.




Rantanen missed the last four games with an illness but will be back on the top line and top power-play unit on Thursday. Prior to getting sick, Rantanen had 26 points (10G / 16A) in his last 19 games.
