Faksa appeared in four games during his most recent call-up—he had one assist, which give him one goal and two assists in 18 games on the year. He heads back to Texas where he has 13 points (9G / 4A) in 19 games this season.


Duchene missed the morning skate because of an illness, but is still expected to be in the lineup tonight vs. the Islanders. Duchene has been red-hot in the month of November, having recorded 11 goals and nine assists (20 points) in 13 games.

Faksa, 21, had one goal and one assist in 14 games with the Stars. He returns to Texas, where he has two goals in one game this season. His return to the AHL suggests that Patrick Eaves will return to the lineup on Tuesday.

Petrovic suffered a foot injury in Saturday’s loss to the Capitals, but he will play on Thursday in Anaheim. He has two assists and 16 PIMS in 10 games this season.

Faksa, 21, was the 13th overall pick in the 2012 Draft and it looks like he will make his NHL debut on Saturday vs. the Panthers. Patrick Eaves and Curtis McKenzie went down with injuries in back-to-back games, opening the door for the 21-year-old to make his debut. He had just 10 points (4G / 6A) in 32 games with Texas last season, but scored twice in the 2015-16 season opener.



Benn had a crazy four-point season finale and five goals and five assists in his last three games to win the Art Ross Trophy this season. He played all 82 games, but will go under the knife after the Stars were eliminated from the playoffs. Benn is expected to be ready for training camp.

Seguin showed up late for a practice on Friday and will be a healthy scratch on Saturday as a result. Seguin will finish the season with 37 goals and 40 assists (77 points) in 71 games.

Benn was listed as questionable on Tuesday, but he took part in the morning skate and said that he will play tonight vs. the Flames. Benn has been red-hot as of late, scoring three goals with five assists (8 points) in his last six games.

Benn was banged up in the Stars win over the Sabres last night and is a question mark for Wednesday. Benn had two goals and one assist last night vs. Buffalo and has three goals and five assists (8 points) in his last six games. Monitor his status during the morning skate.

Seguin missed just three weeks after being given a 3-8 week timetable to return. It was super-fast recovery and the Stars were elated to have him in the lineup last night, as he potted two goals in the Stars 5-4 loss vs. Tampa Bay. Despite missing 10 games, Seguin remains just nine points back from the NHL scoring lead.

Seguin was given a 3-8 week time table to return from his knee injury and today makes the three-week point to the day. It was a tremendously fast return for the 23-year-old, who has 59 points (29G / 30A) in 55 games this season.

Seguin is taking part in line rushes which is a good sign that he will play tonight. We have to wait for official word from the team.

The Stars announced on Friday that Seguin would not be playing tonight, but he will now take part in warmups and the Stars will make a decision on his status after. He is an ultra-competitive guy, so it seems like there is a pretty good chance he will play.

Seguin was a full participant on Friday, but will be held out of Saturday’s game against the Lightning, but the Stars are hopeful he can return next Tuesday in Philadelphia. Saturday marks the three week mark in a 3-6 week timetable.

Seguin returned to the ice last Saturday and returned to practice this morning, which was a big step in his recovery from that knee injury. He won’t play tonight and likely won’t play on Saturday, but coach Lindy Ruff said he could be back within the week.

Seguin has been out since February 13th, but today showed that he is progressing way ahead of scheduled and could be back much sooner than expected. The Stars should release an updated timetable soon.
