Kulak was a healthy scratch on Saturday but he will replace Matt Bartkowski in the lineup tonight vs. Toronto. Kulak has just three assists in 14 games this season.

Carrick has been a mainstay on the Maple Leafs blueline for the majority of the season but will be replaced by Roman Polak as the Maple Leafs go with a heavy lineup against the Capitals.

Smith has won his first two starts of the Flames road trip and now heads to Columbus with a 6-1-0 record, 1.97 GAA and .946 SV% away from Calgary this season. Kapanen appeared in three games with the Maple Leafs during his call-up but returns to the Marlies where he had three goals in six games so far this season.

Smith allowed four goals on 30 shots in the Flames’ win over the Devils on Sunday. Smith extended his winning streak to three, stopping 99 of 105 shots (.943 SV%) in the process. Smith comes into Tuesday with a 4-4-0 record, 2.67 GAA and .914 SV% on home-ice so far this season.

Malone has split the first month of the season between the NHL and AHL. The 28-year-old centre comes up to take Kailer Yamamoto’s spot on the roster and has registered two goals and one assist in eight games with the Condors.

Kapanen played just 7:31 TOI in his season debut with the Maple Leafs and will replace Josh Leivo in the lineup tonight and play with Nazem Kadri and Leo Komarov.

Carrick drew into the lineup on Wednesday after being a healthy scratch for the four previous games. Carrick will come out again tonight with Roman Polak drawing into the lineup.

Smith made 30 saves on 31 shots in the Flames win over the Capitals on Sunday. After losing three of four, Smith turned in another great outing, moving his GAA to 2.31 while posting a .931 SV% in 11 October appearances. He faces an 8-5-1 Penguins team that is averaging 2.79 goals for per game so far.
