Ryan Nugent-Hopkins inks entry level contract with Oilers

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today the Coyotes have signed unrestricted free agent goaltender Mike Smith to a multi-year contract. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Jason Demers also skated with his teammates and again declared he felt ready to play if his coach was ready to pencil him in the lineup. I’ll be very surprised, though, if that happens.
