Skinner will likely start for the fifth straight game as the red-hot Oilers host the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday. The Oilers are riding a franchise-best 13-game winning streak and are sizeable -349 home favourites against a Blue Jackets squad that has lost four of their last five (1-3-1). The entire Oilers' roster has worked in tandem during their unprecedented winning streak, but Skinner has been the team's backbone, allowing two or fewer goals in nine of his last 10 outings (10-0-0), posting a remarkable .947 SV%.

Despite losing two of his last three (1-1-1), Ingram will start for the fifth straight game on Monday night. After a poor game to open the 2024 calendar year, allowing five goals in a 5-1 loss to the New York Islanders, Ingram has allowed three or fewer goals in each of his last six appearances (3-1-1), posting a stellar .932 SV%. The Coyotes are +131 home underdogs against a Penguins club that defeated them 4-2 last month.

Stecher has been a regular in the lineup for the Coyotes this season but will be out of Arizona's lineup on Monday due to a lower-body, allowing Juuso Valimaki to draw into the lineup. Stecher has been held off the scoresheet in 12 of his last 13 games and is expected to be out for 4-6 weeks.

The team did not announce his return ahead of Friday's game, but Walman is listed as being in the Red Wings lineup per the official roster report on NHL.com. Walman lasted played on January 11th, missing the last three games with the illness. He has nine goals and eight assists in 38 games this season.

Skinner will start for the third straight game on Thursday as the Oilers attempt for a harrowing 12th straight victory. In his last seven games (7-0-0), Skinner has allowed two or fewer goals in each contest, posting a tremendous .954 SV%. The Oilers are sizeable -230 home favourites in a divisional matchup against the Seattle Kraken, who have lost two straight after seeing their nine-game winning streak come to an end earlier this week.

As he did during a stellar stretch of play in early December, Ingram has retaken the Coyotes' net and will start for the fourth time in the last five games on Thursday night. Ingram has allowed three or fewer goals in five of his last six appearances (3-1-1), including two shutouts, posting a terrific .927 SV%. That said, Ingram and the Coyotes face a difficult foe on Thursday and are +171 road underdogs against a Vancouver Canucks club that has points in their last six games (5-0-1).

Kapanen seemingly had no issue in the Blues' last game, playing 15:47 time-on-ice, above his season average, but has been placed on the injured reserve with an ankle injury and is expected to miss at least four weeks. Kapanen has struggled in his first full season with the Blues, scoring only 13 points (4G / 9A) in 42 games, his worst point-per-game pace (0.31) since his rookie season in 2017-18 with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Ingram will start for the third time in the last four games for the Coyotes on Tuesday night in Calgary. Ingram is coming off a sensational 38-save shutout on Saturday in a 6-0 victory over the Minnesota Wild. His .915 SV% over his last eight appearances (4-2-0) would typically be a serviceable total but is indicative of his inconsistent play lately, given that he has three shutouts over that span. The Coyotes are +146 road underdogs against the Flames, who defeated them 6-2 less than a week ago, a game in which Ingram saved 16 of 18 shots (.889 SV%) after entering in relief.

On the backbone of a stellar month from Skinner, the Oilers are riding a 10-game winning streak heading into their Tuesday evening matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Over his last seven games (7-0-0), Skinner has been nearly unbeatable, allowing fewer than three goals six times and posting a tremendous .951 SV%.

Emberson left Tuesday's game vs. Toronto after 21:49 due to an undisclosed injury and will now be out week-to-week as he recovers. The 23-year-old rookie has been one of few bright spots in San Jose this season, with his goal, six assists, 22 SOG, two PIMs and -2 plus/minus in 21 games prior to his injury.

Ingram will return to the crease on Saturday after entering Thursday's game, a 6-2 loss to the Calgary Flames, in relief of Karel Vejmelka. Ingram has fallen back to earth after his spectacular run at the beginning of December but is still sporting a respectable .909 SV% in his last four outings (2-1-0). Ingram will be facing off against a Minnesota Wild club playing the back end of a back-to-back and has only scored 12 total goals in their last seven games heading into Friday.
