Jarry (lower-body) has been placed on IR and will miss at least three weeks.

The Penguins have evenly alternated goalie starts through 14 games this season, but will rely on Arturs Silovs for at least the next three weeks, as Jarry has been placed on Injured Reserve due to a lower-body injury. Jarry has played well this season but had a forgettable outing on Monday, allowing four unanswered goals in the third period en route to a 4-3 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. He has a 2.60 GAA and .911 SV% in seven games this season (5-2-0).

Regula (undisclosed) has been activated from IR.

Regular has not played since suffering an undisclosed injury in Edmonton's second game of the season, but appears to be nearing a return after being activated from Injured Reserve on Tuesday. The 25-year-old Regula has zero points and is averaging 15:54 time-on-ice through two games this season.

Pickard will start in St. Louis on Monday.

On the front end of a back-to-back, the Oilers will turn to Pickard on Monday against the St. Louis Blues. Despite a serviceable 2-1-1 record, the 33-year-old Pickard has struggled this season, posting an ugly 3.50 GAA and .846 SV% in four games. That said, the Oilers have played well lately, recording at least a point in six of their last seven games (4-1-2), and enter Monday's contest as -129 road favorites against a Blues team that has been outscored 51-34 through 12 games this season (3-7-2).

Jarry will start in Toronto on Monday.

After a disappointing 2024-25 season that saw them finish as the worst defensive team in the Eastern Conference (3.57 GA / GP), the Penguins are off to a surprisingly strong start in 2025-26 (8-3-2) and have shown significant improvements defensively thus far (2.77 GA / GP). Jarry will return to the crease for the Penguins on Monday, looking to improve a solid 2.35 GAA and .923 SV% through six games (5-1-0). Still, the Penguins enter Monday's contest as +159 road underdogs against a Toronto Maple Leafs team coming off a 5-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

Jarry will start in Minnesota on Thursday.

The Penguins are off to an impressive 7-2-2 start to the season and will continue their goalie rotation, turning to Jarry between the pipes on Thursday against the Minnesota Wild. After a horrendous 2024-25 campaign, posting an ugly 3.12 GAA and .892 SV% in 36 games (16-12-6), Jarry is off to his best start in years, posting a 2.62 GAA and .916 SV% in five contests (4-1-0). Still, the Penguins enter Thursday's contest as +149 road underdogs against a struggling 3-5-3 Wild team.

Hyman (upper-body) will not return on Saturday and is still considered week-to-week.

Hyman missed the second half of last year's playoffs after enduring an upper-body injury and has yet to play in the 2025-26 season. At the beginning of training camp, Head Coach Kris Knoblach stated he is hopeful the 32-year-old can return in early November. Knoblach updated the media today, stating that Hyman is still at least a week away. Hyman is just one season removed from a 54-goal campaign in 2023-24 and will hope to get off to a hot start when he is able to return.

Philp will be a healthy scratch vs. Utah on Tuesday.

The Oilers will opt for an 11-7 formation on Tuesday, with Philp exiting the lineup, replaced by defenseman Troy Stecher. The 27-year-old Philp has been productive in a supporting role for the Oilers this season, averaging 11:21 time-on-ice and scoring three points (2G / 1A) in six games.

Jarry will start vs. St. Louis on Monday.

The Penguins have been a pleasant surprise early in the 2025-26 season, off to a 6-2-1 start, led by strong tandem goaltending from Tristan Jarry and Arturs Silovs. The 30-year-old Jarry returns to the crease on Monday against the St. Louis Blues, looking to build on a solid 2.52 GAA and .921 SV% in four games (3-1-0). Pittsburgh enters Monday's contest as slight +107 home underdogs against a St. Louis team that has been outscored 15-9 during a three-game losing skid (0-2-1).

Pickard will start vs. Montreal on Thursday.

The Oilers have been inconsistent to start the 2025-26 season, scoring only 18 goals (2.57 GF / GP) through seven games (3-3-1), totals that are not aligned with an offense led by Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Pickard will be between the pipes on Thursday against the Montreal Canadiens, looking to build on a 2.54 GAA and .865 SV% through two games (1-1-0). The Oilers enter Thursday's action as sizable -216 home favorites against a Montreal Canadiens team that played last night, defeating the Calgary Flames 2-1 in overtime.
