



Nurse has been sidelined by an ankle injury since December 1st, but is on the Oilers’ current road-trip, but will miss both games of their back-to-back in Florida on Tuesday and Wednesday. Monitor his status later in the week.

Jarry served as the Penguins backup for the last two games, but Matt Murray (lower-body) is set to return to the lineup tonight in Washington, so Jarry heads back to the AHL, where he is 14-5-0 with a 2.14 GAA and .921 SV% this season.

Dickinson, 21, made his NHL debut on December 8th and has 14 points (4G / 10A) in 19 games with Texas this season. Expect him to draw into the lineup on Tuesday with Antoine Roussel on IR.

Murphy missed the last three games with an upper-body injury, but will replace Michael Stone in the lineup this afternoon. Murphy has four assists in 26 games this season.

Nurse was having a strong season until he tore ligaments in his ankle in early-December. He will miss up to three months, which means he is sidelined until mid-March, so his 2016-17 regular season shouldn’t be done.

Dickinson played 10:08 with the Stars on Thursday, but with Jiri Hudler set to return on Saturday, Dickinson will return to AHL where he’s had a very strong first quarter.

Dickinson, 21, was a first round pick (29th overall) in 2013 and has appeared in just one career NHL game. Dickinson has played well with Texas, picking up four goals and six assists (10 points) in 13 games with Texas this season.

Nurse is expected to be out long-term with a lower-body injury. This is a big blow to the Oilers’ blueline and thrusts Matt Benning into bigger role. With Nurse out, the Oilers have recalled Dillon Simpson from Bakersfield (AHL).

Hyman was not on the ice for Monday’s practice session, but he is expected to return to his spot on the Maple Leafs’ top line on Tuesday. Hyman has scored goals in back-to-back games.

Jarry was set to start the season as Marc-Andre Fleury’s backup after Matt Murray suffered a broken hand in the World Cup of Hockey, but after they claimed Mike Condon this afternoon, Jarry heads back to the AHL to start the year. The 21-year-old was 17-13-3 with a 2.69 GAA and .905 SV% in 33 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton last year.

Janmark is reportedly dealing with Osteochondritis dissecans and will undergo surgery on Friday afternoon. The Stars have been ravaged by injuries in training camp and this is a big loss for them. Janmark was expected to play an expanded role early in the season because Cody Eakin is currently sidelined with a knee injury of his own. Janmark may miss the entire season.

Murphy, 23, scored six goals with 11 assists (17 points) in 78 games in 2015-16. In his first two NHL seasons Murphy has scored a combined 10 goals and 14 assists (24 points) in 151 games. He will be a key member of the Coyotes’ blueline in 2016-17.


Dickinson, 20, scored his first career NHL goal in his NHL debut on Thursday. With some of the Stars’ forwards returning to health, Dickinson returns to Texas, where he has 50 points (20G / 30A) in 69 games this season.



Hyman, 23, collected four goals and two assists in 16 games with the Maple Leafs.He heads back to the Marlies where he has 33 points (13G / 20A) in 54 games.
