The trainers assured Kulikov and Dineen that they would be able to keep the wound clean to guard against infection.
“He’s a tough kid,” Dineen said. “He’s shown us numerous times that his will to play is large.”
Despite the nasty gash, the young defender was able to draw into the lineup. Last night he landed a hit, took a shot on goal and finished with a minus-1 rating in the team's 2-1 loss to the Kings. Expect him to stay in the lineup moving forward.
