The 2019 1st-round pick (27th overall) has previously played in 13 NHL games across the past two seasons, with four goals, two assists and a +2 plus/minus rating.

Tarasov has not played since December 23rd and was moved to IR on Tuesday to make room for Jet Greaves to be recalled from Cleveland (AHL). Greaves was recalled to serve as Elvis Merzlikins' backup with Joonas Korpisalo unavailable for personal reasons.
