Kuzmenko's ice time has dropped below eight minutes in his last two games, as he has been playing primarily on the fourth line, and he will be a healthy scratch on Thursday against the Maple Leafs. The 29-year-old Kuzmenko has seven points (3G / 4A) in 17 games this season, but has only one point (1G / 0A) in his last eight games. Jeff Malott enters the lineup as Kuzmenko's replacement.

Andrei Kuzmenko is expected to be a healthy scratch on Thursday against the Toronto Maple Leafs, allowing Malott to re-enter the lineup. The 29-year-old Malott has two goals and 23 penalty minutes in 13 games this season.

Joseph has been a regular for the Blues this season, playing 15 of 16 games, but will be sidelined on Tuesday against the Calgary Flames due to a lower-body injury. The 28-year-old Joseph is averaging 12:41 time-on-ice and has six points (2G / 4A) this season.

Despite Darcy Kuemper shutting out Winnipeg in Los Angeles' previous contest, Anton Forsberg will take the crease on Thursday vs. Florida. The 32-year-old backup netminder has struggled at times during his first season with the Kings, with his 2-1-1 record, 3.19 GAA and .894 SV%. The Kings host the struggling Florida Panthers on Thursday, who have lost seven of their last 10 contests.

Oskar Sundqivst is battling an undisclosed injury and will not play on Thursday, allowing Joseph to re-enter the lineup against the Buffalo Sabres. The 28-year-old Joseph is averaging 12:39 time-on-ice, recording 26 hits and three points (1G / 2A) in 13 games this season.

Nathan Walker will draw back into the Blues' lineup on Wedensday against the Washington Capitals, sending Joseph to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 28-year-old Joseph is averaging 12:39 time-on-ice, recording 26 hits and three points (1G / 2A) in 13 games this season.

Laughton suffered a lower-body injury towards the end of training camp and has been sidelined since. The 31-year-old Laughton was limited to only four points (2G / 2A) in 20 games with the Maple Leafs after being acquired before last season's trade deadline. The Maple Leafs will hope that an offseason helps the 31-year-old acclimate to the team's style, allowing him to return to the production he had in his previous two full seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers, when he scored 82 points (31G / 51A) in 160 games. He is expected to play on a line with Steven Lorentz and Max Domi.

The Kings will unsurprisingly turn to Kuemper to face off against Connor Hellebuyck and the Jets on Tuesday. Kuemper was tagged with a second straight loss in his last start, as he allowed three goals on 21 shots in a 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Devils on Saturday. The 35-year-old netminder owns an .891 SV% and a 3-3-3 record on the season. Kuemper and the Kings enter action on Tuesday at -130 on the money line.
