Los Angeles Kings News

The Kings signed Moverare to a two-year contract worth an AAV of $0.775M through the 2025-26 season.

The timing is a bit bizarre considering Moverare was just placed on waivers earlier today. Moverare has played 10 games with the Kings this season, being held off the scoresheet, but has spent most of the 2023-24 Campaign with the Ontario Reign (AHL), posting 18 points (2G / 16A) in 34 contests.

Forsberg will start against the Coyotes on Friday.

Forsberg will make the start on Friday against the Coyotes after all, as Joonas Korpisalo was a late scratch for the game due to illness. Forsberg got shelled his last time out, allowing four goals on 10 shots before being pulled in favour of Korpisalo in a 6-3 loss to the Capitals on Monday. Luckily for Forsberg, the Senators enter action on Friday as -186 home favourites against an Arizona Coyotes club riding an unprecedented 14-game losing skid (0-12-2).
