On the tail end of a back-to-back, a night after losing 4-2 to the Dallas Stars, the Senators will turn to Forsberg between the pipes on Friday against the St. Louis Blues. Forsberg has not played since December 8th, missing time due to a lower-body injury. The 32-year-old Forsberg has been inconsistent in limited action this season, posting a mediocre 2.95 GAA and .889 SV% despite recording two shutouts in 11 appearances (4-6-0). The Senators enter Friday's contest as +100 road underdogs against a St. Louis Blues club coming off a 6-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks.

Oskar Sundqvist will not play on Friday against the Ottawa Senators due to an illness, allowing Joseph to re-enter the lineup. The 27-year-old Joseph is averaging 12:08 time-on-ice and has four points (2G / 2A) in 24 games this season.

Walker Duehr will draw into the lineup on Tuesday against the Vancouver Canucks, sending Kuzmenko to the press box as a healthy scratch.
