The Oilers have re-signed Corey Perry to a one-year deal worth $1.4 million.
After failing to win a Stanley Cup after reaching the finals for the fifth time in his career, Corey Perry is going to run it back with Edmonton after signing a one-year deal worth $1,400,000 AAV. The 39-year-old is entering his 20th NHL season after putting up 12 goals and 22 points in 54 games with Chicago and Edmonton in 2023-24.
The Red Wings have signed Erik Gustafson to a two-year deal worth $4.0 million ($2.0M AAV).
Gustafson will join his eighth NHL team in nine seasons after signing a two-year, $4 million contract ($2,000,000 AAV) with Detroit on Monday. The 32-year-old spent 2023-24 with the New York Rangers and had six goals, 31 points and 35 PIMs in 76 games played.

Chicago has signed Cole Guttman to a one-year, two-way contract extension.
Guttman had four goals and eight points in 27 games with the Blackhawks in 2023-24 and signed a one-year, two-way contract extension on Thursday. The 25-year-old centre will be entering his third NHL season in 2024-25 and has eight goals, 14 points and nine PIMs in 41 career NHL contests.
Los Angeles has acquired Darcy Kuemper from Washington for Pierre-Luc Dubois.
Los Angeles solved their goaltending issues on Wednesday as they acquired Darcy Kuemper in a one-for-one deal for Pierre-Luc Dubois. The 34-year-old Kuemper won a Stanley Cup with Colorado in 2022 and quickly signed a five-year, $26.25 million contract in the offseason. He will start 2024-25 in the third year of that contract after posting a 13-14-3 record, 3.31 GAA and .890 SV% in 33 games played in 2023-24 with the Capitals.
The Blues have signed Scott Perunovich to a one-year deal worth $1.15 million.

Lee spent the last three seasons with Ontario (AHL) after graduating from UMass-Lowell (NCAA) in 2022-22 and signed his first NHL contract Wednesday as Los Angeles signed him to a one-year, two-way contract. The 23-year-old left-winger was Los Angeles' 2019 seventh-round pick (188th overall) and had eight goals and 13 points in 36 games with Ontario in 2023-24.
Perry (undisclosed) will play in Game 6 vs. the Stars.
Perry was banged up in Game 5 but will be fine for a potential series-clinching Game 6 vs. the Stars. Perry has one assist, one shot and three hits in two games during this series.
