Perry was pacing for his best offensive totals in a half-decade with nine points (4G / 5A) in 16 games this season but will serve as a healthy scratch for the second consecutive game on Friday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Perry's continued absence from the lineup is puzzling, given his strong start to the season and the news that Taylor Hall will miss the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign.

The 30-year-old goaltender has watched his crease time dwindle due to his horrific early season numbers with his 2-3-0 record, .833 SV% and 3.79 GAA. He will take on the Wild Saturday, who are looking to get in the win column after a three-game skid and rank 16th in both shots per game (31.0) and goals per game (3.27).

Ziemmer was Los Angeles 2023 third-round pick (78th overall) and has signed a three-year, $2.625 million entry-level contract Friday. The 18-year-old right-winger his having an excellent third season in Prince George (WHL), as he has seven goals, 24 points, six PIMs and a +3 plus/minus through 16 games played.

Jenik was called up from the Tuscon Roadrunners of the AHL on Friday morning after news broke that Barret Hayton would miss four to six weeks with an upper-body injury. Jenik was the 65th overall pick of the Coyotes in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft and has scored 28 points (9G / 19A) in 39 games over the last two seasons with the Roadrunners.

Laferriere has played all 14 games with the Kings this season, registering three points (2G / 1A) and 28 shots on goal. The first-year winger has most recently played on a line with Pierre-Luc Dubois and Arthur Kaliyev and will be replaced by Jared Anderson-Dolan on Thursday.

Kuemper left practice in difficulty with an apparent lower-body injury on Wednesday. Kuemper had just returned to the lineup and served as the backup to Charlie Lindgren after not dressing for two games with an undisclosed injury.
